In the past I went through several different lash artists and this is how I learned the hard way that there's a lot of sub par or horrible lashing going on out there. I dealt with everything from poor retention to straight up damage to my natural lashes. I finally found, by word of mouth, a truly amazing lash artist back in California and I was willing to drive 45+ minutes to her every 3 weeks until I moved to Nevada. I was so panicked at the thought of finding another great lash artist, but this time I got lucky by word of mouth again! I've been going to Brandi since the end of 2021 when I moved to Vegas. My lashes last a full 3 weeks and look so glamorous yet natural (I get a hybrid set). Her work is just as amazing as her customer service. Recently I had my old brow tattoo touched up my Brandi as well and she did an incredible job color correcting my faded brows. My lashes have been filled with zero breaks since the end of 2021 and my natural lashes are still going strong. Trust me, that doesn't always happen when you maintain lash extensions. Between my brows and my lashes I save so much time because I roll out of bed ready for the day.

Update 11/11: Wasn't even going to reply since my mom just died and I have way more important…read morethings to deal with but since the owner commented EIGHT separate times to this TODAY and I keep getting email after email about her commenting on this: I was going to send her the screenshot of me inquiring about the touch up in July but she blocked me. At this point it's a moot point anyway so drop it. 10/28: I booked with Chae Magnifique in September 2019- paid in full at the time of booking- and the owner cancelled my appointment hours before I was supposed to have it. She only offers appointments during the week but I had taken time off of work for the appointment. However, I understand that emergency situations happen, BUT if you look at some other reviews, I see that she didn't extend the same grace to people who had to reschedule last minute. If the tables were turned and I had cancelled on her just hours before the appointment, it wouldn't have been ok. If you're going to have expectations for your clients, it's important to have the same for yourself. I ended up rescheduling my appointment for December, then had to reschedule again for March (not last minute) because I realized I scheduled my December appointment before running a half marathon, which wouldn't have worked because you're not supposed to workout right after the procedure. When I went in in March, I could feel she wasn't happy to be there, I'm not sure if it's because I asked her to do a Saturday since I had already taken off of work for the appointment she cancelled on me last minute for or what, but she just wasn't very welcoming. I didn't get a hello or anything. Even so, she did a great job so I planned to return and refer her. After you have your appointment, you have 6 months to get a touch up for $50. Well after my appointment happened, everything shut down because of COVID. When things opened back up, I went online in July to schedule my touch up and she had no available touch up appointments until October, which would be 7 months. I wrote her about this and got no response. It's great that she's that busy, but her appointment times are veryyyyyy limited to begin with and during the middle of the week when most people have to work. And since no one could have gotten a touch up during the government-mandated shut down I would think there would be an extended grace period for touch ups. But from what I've seen from other reviews, even without the shut down, people have had similar experiences, so I don't think she's interested in doing the touch ups since they aren't as lucrative. Lastly, if you look at any of the bad reviews on here, the responses from the owner are less than kind. It's completely understandable to want to defend yourself, but as a business owner, you're going to have unhappy customers. There's no way to make EVERYONE happy. But it really doesn't look good to argue with someone who didn't have a good experience because you're kind of proving their point. I'm a business owner myself and if I have a bad review, I work with the customer to figure out what I can do to turn the experience around. The owner did a great job on my brows and they looked great at first, but unfortunately now that they're faded and couldn't get in for my touch up, and I wouldn't return.

Found her area inside the RAIN salon. Clean and conveniently near my home. Maia's very professional and knowledgeable. You can tell she's been in the business for some time. She asks your concern which I did not hesitate to mention. She even went out of her way to get me water. It was windy yesterday and being out most of the day, really dried my throat. Maia took time and really cleansed my face. Her products did not cause any redness or itchiness. My skin felt bright, and fresh. She definitely knows what she's doing. I've been having issues with my eyebrows thinning out but also do not want to wear makeup or look like I'm wearing makeup. Knowing this, Karla made sure to obtain a special dye that would very minimally transfer to my skin. The result is that I have darker and fuller looking brows without any dye transfer on my skin that would look like I had any makeup on. She also has the cutest studio inside Holsom that has the best vibes and the most comfortable furniture while you get your services dined. You feel good the minute you step into this space. There are a bunch of different artists here that offer different services including a really cool tattoo artist. Honestly just a great space that feels safe and inclusive.

She claimed that although she was off, she was able to assist someone in a significant life event because she is incredibly kind. My friend also needed her hair done, so Patty, a hair stylist who also worked at Nine18, stepped in to help. My friend was extremely appreciative and pleased with their work that day; they were both heroes to my friend on her wedding day.

But with Sofia she takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. I've never met a lash artist who does a refill for 2hrs, I never feel rushed and she always gives 110%. I've also noticed my retention with her is 2-3 weeks compared to what I was doing with another lash artist which was 1-2 weeks. Go see Sofia she is amazing!
