The pub is the only pub in the harbour and has a large carpark so access is very easy. Using a wheelchair is not a problem as the doors are large and the interior is spacious, however upon my last visit there were no disabled toilets but the normal toilets were adequate and they allow a carer to go in with you. The pub itself is decorated inside with a wonderful warm almost mexciana feel, there are warm burnt oranges next to cool blues and the welcome you receive is very warm and friendly even from the locals and other drinkers visiting. It is a family friendly pub with children allowed in right up until closing time, however don't let this put you off it's not a rowdy noisy place with kids running about it's just a good old family atmosphere. There is a small outdoor area with a few tables which has some old ships memorablilia and is wonderful on a summers evening. There is a darts board and the whole pub is full of wonderful old heavy wood tables like you'd of found in a good old English pub of the last centuries. The bar is extensive with something to make every drinker happy and there is a good food menu which will surely fill you up and all reasonably priced. Go there you won't regret it.
