Jackie and Fran were always happy to assist in any way they could, especially regarding any concerns about the maintenance of the grounds, our general safety, and overall concerns. The apartment is spacious and has many amenities that I really enjoy and the location works well since it is right by the Merrit Parkway. I continue to value the time spent here and often recommend it to other friends who have been looking for a new apartment with a lot of amenities already at the location, including a convenience mart, liquor store, pool, gym, pavilion, doggie park, basketball court, ample parking, and a beautifully maintained grounds.

Sometimes by unacceptable parking restrictions but mostly by the other elevator being broken for days on end. I have no idea how the elderly folks on the 4th floor manage. The new buildings may be gorgeous but there's no past experience to prove they will be satisfactorily maintained. In regard to the previous review, they are quick to remove the snow but there is NO maintenance done to prevent icing over of the lots. Also, much of the info listed here is no longer accurate. The rents are much higher, $1300 is starting for a studio. Dogs are not allowed and not every apartment has a dishwasher. We won't be renewing

As we ventured more deeply into this cavern filled with treasures, we discovered lots of cool pieces that struck a chord! The shadow box filled with badges and medals was alluring, and the sports memorabilia piqued my nephew's interest. The furniture was fabulous, many one-of-a-kind pieces that would surely add flair to any décor. There's also a case of figurines and knick knacks that would make cool conversation pieces. Another large display case held teapots, teacups & retro kitchenware. Everything was well appointed with little vignettes hither and thither on every table and shelf. My daughter gathered several copper pots and containers for her collection, as well as an unusual brass unicorn spigot/faucet that was delightful! Kevin returned my call very promptly when I reached out. Since he was already working in town, he was able to swing by the same day. After explaining my issue, Kevin got to work diagnosing the problem. He found the culprit, a poorly wired outlet, within a matter of minutes. Kevin rewired the outlet correctly, installed a new outlet and ensured it was flush mounted; previously, it had not been. He stayed around for a bit and ensured all the other outlets worked and had the correct voltage. This repair gave us back the functionality of the majority of the outlets in our kitchen. I can't say enough about the level of service Kevin provided. He was timely, professional, personable and clean. He charged a very fair price for the work he did. I highly recommend calling him for electrical work. We plan on utilizing his services in the future.

Kevin installed six new recessed can lights in a room in my 1860 farm house. Before Kevin's handy work, the room was dark and depressing. No one ever wanted to be in there. I can say, they maintain the property and apartments very well. At my complex, Monday through Friday, EVERY morning I see the maintenance guy walking the property with a pail, picking up any debris, trash along and cigarette butts with checking every hallway. I have only called for maintenance service 5-6 times, but the process was easy and the response is timely. I was charged $25 when I locked myself out of my apartment, while not happy, it is fair. All in all, I can say I am happy and plan to stay here a long time. Pro: Quiet, dumpsters emptied regularly* and the exterior and interior areas are kept very clean. Con: Could use more visitor parking. *This is important to me, I have lived at complexes where the dumpster is not emptied enough. Disgusting when they are overfilled.

And the loud and obnoxious neighbors seem to be sticking around and recommending this place to everyone just like them. Because it's starting to feel like I live in a ghetto around here. Inside my apartment is fine. Except for when I can hear huge parties and fights happening at apartments nearby. Or the increasing instances couples screaming at each other and slamming doors. All of that aside the Flats is a good place to live for a couple or if you're a single person who can afford the rent it's nice. Especially since heat, hot water and electric are all included in the rent (which is pricey). Above all this you lace has been good to me and I've never seen or heard of any cockroaches or bedbugs around here. Thank God or I would've moved out immediately! The office staff is also nice and helpful.
