I arrived at Poplar Bluff Trailer at 3 PM with the bad axle in the back of my truck. My 1 week old side by side and axle-less trailer an hour away in Mark Twain National Forest. Being from Louisiana, we were in a major bind. Poplar Bluff Trailer didn't have a replacement for my 86/70 3500 lbs 5 on 5" axle. But unlike other sellers, they went out of their way to find one, but it needed spring mounts welded on and springs mounted. They had the axle ready and even customized (flipped the axle for more ground clearance) for me by 9 AM the next morning. And the biggie? No price gouging for the out of state break down and expedite! Complete new axle with correct new hubs, bearings, greased, and ready to go, under $300. Hauled it back to the forest, bolted up perfectly, and safely back to Louisiana. Awesome people and awesome job!

When I called them, they told me to take it to someone local since I'm several hours away. Turns out, it had a bad grease seal that let grease get onto the brake, causing the problem. The repair cost $765.83, which the mechanic said he would submit to Texas Pride. I've called no less than eight times and keep hearing the same story. When I contacted Texas Pride, they said they'd never been reached about it. They still haven't gotten back to me, and I wouldn't recommend buying from either of them.
