1 Star Review I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. My husband came here for dental work, and the crown that was placed was done incorrectly, causing him significant pain and discomfort. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When he expressed his concern, the office manager actually yelled at him instead of helping resolve the issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now, he has a severely cracked and infected tooth that needs to be extracted -- a serious situation -- and this office refused to see him the morning of his appointment that was already made and confirmed by the office. The office manager clearly retaliated and this is something Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners cares about. Also the oral surgeon was willing to take him, the dentist, Donna, still denied him care rather than doing the right thing and referring him properly while he was in severe pain with an infection. No patient should be treated this way, especially when they're in pain and need urgent care. This is not how a professional dental office should operate. I hope this helps others avoid the same experience. A complaint had been reported with the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners (NSBDE). Do better Donna. Be professional and ethical when someone needs urgent care, you are legally required to so. read more

Please Read Before Getting In-Office crowns! I strongly advise against going here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In October 2024, I was pressured into getting two crowns on my lower back teeth--even though I had no pain or prior issues. They pushed their in-office crown option very aggressively, even offering a discount.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't fall for it! It won't be worth it! The staff was insistent, and I trusted their guidance. That was a mistake. Months later, I'm still experiencing problems. I went back over 5x for adjustments and they still feel awful. The crowns were poorly shaped, don't fit properly, and don't align with my upper teeth. They look and feel unnatural--flared, too wide, and not shaped like actual teeth. Because of this, I still can't chew on my right side. To make matters worse, during the placement of the crowns, the doctor cut the inside of my mouth badly. Not only was there no apology, but the injury took two full months to heal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The administrative staff is kind, but unfortunately, the quality of dental work is not trustworthy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] These crowns are under warranty, but I don't feel safe letting them do any more work on my mouth. I'm in the process of getting them redone by true professionals. Do not get in-office crowns here or anywhere. They aren't worth it! Don't do it. Don't do it! Incredible experience... I had a tooth extraction. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating from reception to the dentist . The entire process was pleasant for an unpleasant procedure . Went to this dentist office twice, my husband once, the first time I went for an exam they told me I have no cavities but a periodontal disease which is weird because I haven't had any issues since I was 12 years old and I just went to the dentist less than a year ago and everything was fine. They recommended I come in every three months since I have this disease (which my insurance wouldn't cover) so I'd be paying out of pocket plus they suggested bacterial rinse and laser for additional $. They cleaned only my gums on my left side one day and were supposed to clean the other half of my gums + my teeth on Friday but when I came in they said my insurance was terminated. They didn't even clean my teeth so I will be filing a case with my insurance on that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My dental insurance became active November 1,2024. My husband is still in the union and is working as we speak when they said that my insurance was terminated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Called united healthcare and they don't know why they're saying that but said that since we changed plans and they just sent out new cards maybe that's why it says terminated but we still have active dental insurance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I decided to go somewhere else because these people are just trying to get money out of me. read more

I left SRD because the office manager was rude and unpleasant. I took my business elsewhere to a competitor but in the same smile generation network. I had gone there for years (both my son and I) but this young lady was just over the top rude and too much. I was willing to endure my pain and switch practices before ever dealing with her again. I will not wait an hour for Dr Richardson. I was on time. It is not my fault your system was down. You should have called and rescheduled me. I will not pay the full price upfront until you sort out my insurance. BUT at the very least maintain your composure and Do Not present your rude and unprofessional attitude in my direction. This dental office celebrated their grand opening back in June 2019. Met the Office Manager, Yvonne, while she was outside promoting their services. The giveaways such as pens, floss, electric toothbrush, and chapstick are what initially caught my eye, but after chatting with Yvonne we decided to take an office tour. A modern dentist with advanced technology. We saw the CEREC CAM/CAD unit which specializes in crowns within 2 hours and one visit. The waiting room is small, but the exam rooms are quite spacious. I also like that there are comprehensive specialists under one roof. We met Donna Karimzada, DMD, and saw her credentials on the wall. Everyone was really nice! Teeth whitening service is also available and their plans include a custom tray and gel set for DIY at-home whitening, or whitening in their office chair plus the custom tray set to take home. With the foreseeable frequent visits to the new coffee shop next door, Black Rock, I'm gonna need this! Went to see Dr Saro Oknaian, DMD due to a redo because he had done a root canal before n I had no pain whatsoever for about a year. But then, I started getting some zingers. And thats when I had to go back. He took x-rays n couldn't tell why I was hurting. X-rays showed no sign of anything until he took the crown off n saw the tooth was cracked. Told me that I needed an extraction. The place is very clean n they follow covid19 protocol. The staff is very friendly n helpful. Plenty of parking n easy access to the 15. A front office person by the name of De Shea, (probably spelled wrong), that deals with insurance had a problem verifying my Cigna Plus discount plan. I called my insurance to make sure I was still covered and they confirmed. So, I contacted De Shea to inform her that I was still covered and to recheck. De Shea immediately starts complaining that she has already called once, smh. I informed her that I wasn't the primary on the insurance, then she asked for the primary members name and social security number!, I gave the name and DOB, but declined to give her someone else's social security # because that person is not a patient and has not given permission, and Cigna Plus did not require that info and do not have socials on file. De Shea completely ignored what I advised her of, and asked for the social security # again, well knowing that I am a Cash patient! This pissed me off, but I proceeded because I wanted to be treated by Dr. K. I called this morning, the day of my appointment to check if she verified the insurance, but she was out to lunch and would call when she returns, My appointment is literally in 30 minutes for a first time patient appointment and I've been waiting 2 hours and no call back. It appears De Shea decided the company doesn't need or want my trust or business as well as my wife and adult daughters business as they were waiting to see how my visit went first before scheduling appointments for themselves. De Shea is a typical bad employee with plenty of attitude as if she is running things, and has cost this dental practice thousands of Dollars in lost revenue from potential patients. Update; My appointment was at 1:30 today, and De Shea finally calls back at exactly 1:30 to ask about me filling out forms online, smh. Please be aware of this dentistry that is willing to scam their patients out of money and perform unneeded treatment. I went in for a regular checkup a few weeks ago. After the staff took my x-rays and the dentist checked my teeth, I was informed I would need 4 crowns and 2 fillings. According to the dentist, one of the crowns needed to be done immediately, so after seeing the estimate, I agreed to it. After I went home and talked to my boyfriend, he suggested I got in for a second opinion from a different dentist. I ended up going in for a second opinion elsewhere and was informed that I do not need any crowns. I was quite surprised about 2 completely different treatment plans so I ended up getting a third opinion and I was informed again, that I did not need any crowns. It is a shame that people can not even trust doctors to have their patients best interest at heart. read more

I needed a crown replaced and I had a day off. I saw this new office opened and I was able to get in same day to get my crown redone. Dr. K was really gentle and did a great job. Apparently, i am of the small % unhappy with my visit and experience with my services which is extremely unfortunate. I've had many procedures over the past 25 yrs, with braces for 5 and many other contraptions to perfect to smile. I am no stranger to the chair or the pain for that matter. I chose this place bc it was close to home and the reviews were phenomenal, but it was seriously my worst nightmare when I went in and had my first root canal done. I had to tell the 'specialist' that prepped me, twice that he needed to maintain communication with me and tell me what he was doing and why. The 1st time, he said "tell me if you feel any cold" he touched my tooth and it hurt so bad. I didnt know he was testing a booth's nerve to to see if it was still alive. It would have been nice to be a little more prepared for that. The next time, he had given me a shot to numb and had not told me he was doing so. I've NEVER raised my octane level out of pain in the 25 yrs I've gone to the dentist and that made me do so. Fast forward to the next step, where they fit me for a crown. A wire was left around my old tooth which had caused an immense amount of discomfort, to the point I was in tears and a migraine had developed. The dentists had left the room for a good 15 minutes and I had to find someone to help me understand why I was feeling this way. They took the wire off, which relieved a lot of pressure, but by that point, I was already not having a good experience and wanted to leave. It's been a week with my new crown and i can feel that it is crooked. I went in to sign some papers for the payment plan today and Yvonne the office manager is amazing. She is the only one that has made my experience as good as it could possibly get, considering everything that has happened. Due to the lack of Dr. to client communication, I will definitely be looking elsewhere for future services. read more
