I have worked here for about 3 months now and it has been such a great experience. The Residents and staff have been such sweethearts to me. The level of care and compassion is ideal for our loved ones to reside in. The type of care the residents receive is immaculate, from care providers to dinner. I don't think I have been anywhere else where the staff and management work so well to build a solid foundation for our elderly. There are also LVNS and Med Techs that help the residents thrive as well and overall have had an awesome experience with the wholesome care that has been provided. They also offer palliative care for those needing extra help. Another thing Worth mentioning is that they offer support groups and many activities as the elderly with degenerative diseases progress, their level of care also progresses and it's provided right next door at Villagio. Thank you Capriana for the amazing work. I hope to someday retire in a place like this.

Father in law died and was left on the floor for 7 hours while mother in law sat helpless in family room. Food is bland and very fatty. Mother in law put on 85 pounds in first 2 years, now she is stuck in a chair and needs help getting out of chair to go to bathroom. Of course all of the extra help is a charge. Tried to do the Easter Brunch but it was full and the people we talked with said the food was stale.

I am truly honored to write this review for Villagio. My first experience with this wonderful…read morefacility was more than 13 years ago, when my dear mother lived here. We had an outstanding experience then, and I'm happy to say that Villagio remains truly exceptional today. After touring five or six different memory care communities, we knew right away that Villagio was the best choice for Mom. Years later, when it was time to move my brother, I couldn't help comparing his facility in New Jersey to the high standard I had seen at Villagio. For a couple of years, I worked closely with Sami Fox, Marketing Director, to make the transition possible. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and welcoming--inviting me to visit anytime as I navigated the process of moving him across the country. Though the move was challenging, it was absolutely the right decision. As we entered the doors to Villagio for the first time, with my brother, he was reluctant to stay in a new place. Tonya and Marilyn were there to take this burden off our hands and they relaxed him with conversation and a tour of his new home. The Villagio staff were kind and supportive as my brother slowly adjusted, which helped him settle in remarkably well. I visit often, and I can honestly say that every single team member here is compassionate and respectful. It begins the minute I walk in the door as I am greeted with a cheery hello and smile from Jan or Grace. You can hear it in the way staff speak to the residents--with warmth and dignity. The activities are engaging and varied, and the holidays are especially festive and joyful. A few times a month, families are invited to join special events, which is a lovely touch. The food is both healthy and delicious--my brother often raves about his meals and desserts. I see great rapport when staff deliver meals. Smiles and laughter are common. Communication is also excellent; Bree keeps me well informed through calls and texts, so I always feel connected. Choosing the right place for a loved one is never easy, but it brings me such peace of mind knowing my brother is receiving such attentive, heartfelt care. The Med Tech Team are all knowledgeable and responsive to my brother's and all the residents' needs. He tells me they are so gentle putting his hearing aids on each day. As a bonus, the other residents are delightful, and it's heartwarming to see them forming friendships and feeling safe in this caring environment. I'm deeply grateful to every member of the Villagio team for the meaningful work they do every day.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I have had an absolutely stellar experience working with Pauline - seriously,…read moreif you've tried Caring.com or A Place for Mom, simply stop what you're doing right now and just call Pauline. She came to our home and spent over an hour getting to know my mother personally to assess the specific character of my mother's dementia so that she could make the best recommendation for communities we could tour. She came with us on the tours instead of "sending us off into the wild" on our own, the value of which is hard to put into words. I had visited about 10 communities by myself before working with Pauline and found some that seemed like they had some potential, but it wasn't until Pauline arrived in our lives that we found a TRULY ideal place for my mom to thrive. Here's what's different about working in- person with a skilled placement professional like Pauline: 1- They have looked into your loved ones eyes and created a personal and compassionate connection that is literally impossible to cultivate if you're only ever speaking with someone over the phone to find places to tour. 2- Pauline just KNOWS ... she is actually from Southern California so she knows the area VERY well and her wealth of personal relationships with the communities that she recommends based on your loved one's care and social needs is invaluable. 3- Superhero Assist, Part 1 ... my mother had planned to move to one community, deposit submitted and everything, but at the very last minute they denied her residence there bc suddenly they decided she could only live in the Memory Care wing and not in the Assisted Living wing, which did not seem at all appropriate based on my mother's expression of her condition.  Needless to say I became intensely disappointed and "rather" upset but Pauline made herself available to listen to the situation and by the end of the day she had not one but TWO tours scheduled for the very next day - and the 2nd of those communities is the one my mother fell in love with and moved to a couple of weeks later. To sum up my mother's experience of that 2nd tour - not even 10 ft past the door after touring she began crying tears of joy and relief bc she felt so welcomed and at home there... talk about a home run experience! 4- Superhero Assist, Part 2 ... on moving day, my mother (despite packing her stuff for two weeks) became confused about the move, became upset with me and refused to leave the house when the movers left with her things (welcome to the adventure of dementia!).  Speechless and confused, I rang Pauline to see what I could do ... she told me not to worry , just to follow the movers over to the community to get the room set up and she would come over to the house and comfort my mom and find a way to get her over to the community.  By the way - this was on a Saturday ... again, this level of warm, considerate, caring service is absolutely not something you can get from a person that you've only ever spoken with on the phone. When my mom and Pauline arrived, my mom was smiling and at ease, ready to move in. Since then, my mom won't stop raving about how much she loves the staff, her room, the other residents, the food and on & on. To conclude, I say again: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... #betterCallPaulineHampton

A big part of it was the marketer who was not only helpful and communicative, but also enthusiastic about the building and the care staff. She helped them navigate various aspects of relocating our loved one, the pros and cons of different senior living communities and really highlighted the quality care provided by her staff. What ultimately sold us on this community was the memory care. We decided that it would be best to choose a community that had assisted living and memory care in one building so, if the time ever came, it would be a smoother transition should that level of care be needed. Although the building is a bit older, it is well taken care of and has a beautiful courtyard for residents and families to enjoy. I highly recommend taking a tour if you're considering assisted living homes for your loved one!

The staff is always responsive, organized, and proactive when it comes to handling insurance-related matters--making the process smooth not just for vendors like myself, but most importantly, for the residents and their families. Beyond the administrative side, it's clear that the environment at Park Regency retirement, is one built on compassion and respect. Every time I'm on-site, I see smiling faces, meaningful interactions, and a real sense of community. It's obvious that the residents are well cared for--not just physically, but emotionally and socially as well. They're a fantastic partner and an even better resource for families seeking quality assisted-living options.
