A good, basic takeaway in a street full of them.
The opening hours are a big plus as they cover the times when I really need instant food (ie not have to cook it myself as I'm working).
They do a large range of appetisers ranging from 4 spring rolls for £2 to a quarter of an aromatic crispy duck at £5.80.
Main meals are a choice between the chef's specials and ordering your own mix up - choose a meat, choose what you want with it (from a choice of 30 items) then wait about five minutes while it's cooked. I couldn't believe how fast they were, but then it was only a beef curry with fried rice (£5).
The English Dishes list is unusual;
Roast spring chicken, scampi, chicken omelette or mushroom omelette. The Chinese must think all english families live on omelettes!
They also do a pork chop with salt and pepper, with oyster sauce or with ginger and spring onions - which I find very unusual.
The service is also uniques, as no-one came out to look at the foreigners as we see in other chinese takeaways read more
