Sean took 5 hours and charged me $390 for a haircut and highlights that takes 2 hours and costs $260 at a high end salon in Washington DC. To top it off, I was left with lots of breakage and unsightly bleeders where the color expanded during processing and leaked out of the top of the foils. When prompted to apply a toner by the person who washed my hair, he said no. He was aware of the issue and did nothing to fix it. I didn't see all the bleeders until I got home, because of the way he styled my hair to hide his mistakes, I've allowed enough time to pass since this unfortunate incident to thoughtfully consider how to word this review.

As per my best friend's suggestion, I mainly got hold of Oasis to do the hair and makeup for my wedding day, and I'm so glad I did. They did a brilliant job with all of our hair and makeup and they charged a fair price for all the care and work they put in. Before Oasis, I was getting ridiculous quotes by the thousands for hair-only or makeup-only services. In total (4 hairdos, 5 makeup, 3 false lashes) with deposits and trials included, they charged me significantly less for fantastic work. They listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions during the trial to guide me with the style/look I was going for. And the stylists working with me the day of were also extremely flexible and well-equipped when some of my bridal party/family asked for additional services/changes for hair and makeup the day of.
