We sat almost 2 1/2 hours waiting and in that time frame 2 tables were served their food order...2!! Our waitress was extremely rude, brought me someone's else's drink from another table, she still had the stamp from the bar from last night on her hand so I assume she was dealing with a hangover and obviously didn't want to be there judging by her violent demeanor. The table next to us ordered at 11:45 and was finally served at 2:00 (cold) after complaining about the time. After our long wait we were told our orders hadn't even began to be prepared. You could look into the kitchen and orders were cooked and ready but not being brought out, stacked everywhere you could see. We when questioned we were told they were busy because of Mothers Day but you could clearly see it was not packed but extremely busy, the lack of effort from some of the staff, poor planning, poor preparation, and poor communication from the management made this a bad day for the Mother's and their special day. After 40+ years I don't think I'll be visiting their establishment again after today....

Once I started to eat it, it was slathered in mayo and there were very few shrimp on it. The few that were supplied were tasty.The fries were cold. I ate about half my meal and left all the fries. Staff said it was a "miscommunication." We were required to pay upfront, and during payment one of our family members was rudely asked if they were "sure they were with the Barnes family" because of "how people were looking." Completely unprofessional. The staff pushed tables together so most of us could sit nearby, but when 2 family members arrived 40 minutes later, they were told they couldn't sit with us because "our time was almost up." Less than an hour into our meal, staff asked us to leave--even though we had not finished eating. Another large African American group had the same experience. When I questioned the manager, she said large parties only get one hour, but admitted this information is not posted anywhere. We left feeling disrespected and singled out. We paid full price but were rushed and treated poorly. What should have been a joyful 90th birthday celebration turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had.
