They promised to put it in a nice little box. They told me they had to make a special 'hidden clasp' for the pendant to make it look right. I paid them ahead of time and waited a week ( they were going on vacation), then 2 weeks, then 3 weeks. When I called they couldn't find the order and finally said 'he's working on it now'. A week later the wife picked it up ( in a plastic bag), no 'hidden clasp' they just opened the pendant enough for the chain to fit through. Caveat emptor with this family.... Steve.... Where is the 'hidden bail" you charged me $125 for?‍ Just so people understand what a hidden Bail is... you cut gold out of my pendant to make room for the chain instead of putting on the bail you quoted. I prefer to settle things publicly You literally quoted me on the hidden bail, charged me for it and then took gold out of my wife's pendant ( no bail).

After being surprised by Josef's approximately $900 quote to replace the movement of the watch (a standard quartz movement that itself is available for sale online for ~$40) I took the watch to JR Dunn in Pompano--an authorized Tag dealer and repair shop, where Josef's is not--and was quoted less than $300 to have the entire job done, by Tag themselves, with a warranty. From the minute you walk in the door, you're greeted warmly and made to feel like family. I came in needing something as simple as watch batteries replaced, but what I found was a place I felt I could truly trust. When it comes to valuable and sentimental jewelry, I'm overly cautious about where I take my pieces. Trust matters. They were fair, fast, and very reasonably priced, and I never once felt pressured. Whether you're looking for exquisite jewelry or simply need a watch battery changed, they treat you with the same care and respect. That says a lot. I feel like I've finally found my jeweler, and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. It's rare these days to find people who genuinely care about their customers, and that's exactly what you'll find here.
