These people do an amazing job. I brought my family from the UK there, and they loved it. The shop has so many lovely items to purchase, and the meat available was amazing. The herd was healthy, huge, and quite magnificent. This was a truly special afternoon. The shopkeeper gave us a Styrofoam cooler to get our meat purchases home safely. She would not take any money for it, and I was proud of this business owner, and I admired how she conducted herself. My family raves about it to the rest of the family in the UK. Silver Bison Approved by Adults and Kids! My husband and I purchased some bison meat and we are super happy that it's approved by our kids. Our son is a very picky eater and we can only eat so much pizza and beef, so it's great to add another item to our menu's. :-) It was wonderful to talk to the owners about how they raise their bison and see all the products that are made out of bison. My favorite food that we tried was the steaks and bison bacon. Next time we schedule an appointment for more meat we will bring our kids! The picture is from our camping trip. ;-) read more

This is more of an F Y I than a review of their product... (though I had their bison at a restaurant, and it was good...). They have a big sign off of I94 saying to come visit... When you get off the highway, there are signs directing you where to go and it's really easy to find (an 8 minute drive or so...). Problem is, once there there's another sign saying open on weekends only, or by appointment. We would've saved a bit of time had the main sign on the highway just said something .. Then when you go to their web site, they say not only are they weekends only, but 12-5pm. Their web site is pretty informative and shows the various products they sell... They also host weddings a lot, apparently... The setup they do for a wedding looks pretty impressive! Wish we could've bought some meat! :( read more

I saw a sign along the highway for this place and decided it would be awesome to see and maybe even pet some Bison. And it would've been cool, if I had seen any while I was there. I didn't exactly ask for the tour, but there were no bison to be see from anywhere when you pull up (which is right in front of the barn). The store sold everything from bison meat, stuffed animals, post cards, jewelry, home decor- literally anything bison you could think of (including bison skulls). I picked up a postcard for a cheap $.75 and was on my way! read more
