This place seems like a more down-to-earth rock shop than the other spots in town. Stuff is kinda dusty, kinda old looking, kinda disheveled. I like it. The prices are fair, too. Seems like a huge selection of a wide variety of stones. If you can't decide what to get, just get a handful of your favorite stones and it's still not gonna cost you too much. We went looking for a rough piece of pink spinel but they didn't have any-- just some cut gems in blue. Next time we're in town, we're definitely stopping here. read more

No one home the afternoon I arrived, which was gonna cost 'em a star. I strolled around a while, agog at all the cool rocks piled around, trying to figure out how & when I could return. Then, at the front door, I noticed a scale & after-hours payment chute. Hurray! A reward for the honest, and a gesture of goodwill by the proprietress. I scooped up the must-have treasure I'd unearthed -- fist-sized petrified wood partially replaced by some uranium mineral, to my eye -- weighed & paid, leaving a note. What fun! 5+ stars, and I didn't even get to talk to anyone. Next time, I'll stay hours. They'll have to kick me out, or feed me! I recommend a stop at the Silver Bear. read more

Ok Come here if you are looking for crystals! This is my 4th trip to Zion and I had never noticed this shop before :) but I am glad I paid attention this time. It is kind of at the end of town so it may get a little overlooked but they have a large assortment of merchandise and the woman who owns it was the nicest woman ever!!! The prices couldn't be better for the size and quality!!! They also have some stones that other shops on the road do not have!!! The shop was a bit pricy but we spent around 40 dollars because we wanted rings, across the street was a beautiful breakfast place and we walked over and got breakfast when we came back to a EMPTY parking lot the owner came out yelling at us for abondoment of car and using free parking, we said we had walked across the street got breakfast and came back it's been 30 minutes and we already spent money here. She slayed she lost customers and made us pay 10 dollars because she called a tow truck to come tow our car read more

i bought a "silver jade" pendant from here and it turns me neck green every time i wear it... probably not even jade. don't get got by the "real" jewelry they sell here i paid nearly $100 for it. read more

This is an awesome rock shop. I have been twice, on both trips to Zion. They have all kinds of wonderful local rocks and gems and really cool chunks of colored glass the size of softballs. We spent only $30 and came away with 5 different pieces. Really nice folks and a must see if you are in the area. Look for all of the piles of rocks out front. read more

Picked up an adorable stone carved t-rex, a pair of Ethiopian opal stud earrings, and a beautiful turquoise ring. The conversation with the owner was pleasant as well. He made us feel very welcomed. Went in. Horrible customer service. Really rude actually. I would have left but my daughter had her heart set on buying a small item for her grandmother. We had exact change. He saw this and made us wait about 10 mins while chatting with other customers. I finally asked him if I could just leave the money. He looked like he wanted to yell and tell me to get out. I guess my $1 item wasn't worth his time. However, if you're a big spender he'll be all over you. I wouldn't go back. Other places in the area to spend money. read more

Took a little drive after hiking and simmer down Zion Park Blvd and stopped at this store. The older lady inside was so sweet and friendly. She talked to me and my son the whole time we were in there. Even offered us some jelly beans that looked like rocks. Made a joke when she bit into it.
