I started my first tattoo removal laser session at Dato Beauty Center on November 2017, a month after I arrived in Buenos Aires. Along with the Picoway, I did a few other treatments such as fillings and facials. Please note I spent over 25,000 ARS in one year at this place, and was planning on spending even more this year (2019). I was happy with their great customer service hence I recommended a few friends & acquaintances. All great until December. I went for my scheduled Picoway session. To my surprise, the Dr took me to a different area of their establishment and asked to wear goggles instead of see through glasses. Laser is extremely painful no matter where it's applied but this time I felt it more. As soon as I left, I applied ice & healing ointment but the swollen was not going down. Not only I could not get rid of the skin/water bubbles all over the treated area but I noticed they burnt my non- inked skin. I called a week later and they suggested to wait. I called again in January. No solution. Then another time and Mrs Dato suggested to go see the dermatologist to make sure the skin was healing properly. As I was leaving for my appointment, she called and canceled stating " I didn't mean to see you tonight, I just suggested this so you would calm down". I sent a few voice notes over the following weeks and again, no solution no compensation no apologies for burning inches of my own skin plus spending the entire summer with a covered arm. Lastly, I granted them a new & last chance to apologize. I sent Mrs Dato a kind voice note sharing my frustration since I was going into two months of discolored un- healed skin. She never replied. I waited a few days and sent another voice note to her secretary. Since I was clearly upset, Dato replied right away, but in a very sarcastic tone telling me that " it was my choice not to expose my arm to the sun and have it covered the entire summer". And that I have to keep waiting and of course NO apology NO compensation. Of course, I put an end to this relationship. See attached photos so you can form your own opinion. No, I do not recommend this place. Please note, BA offers dime a dozen great places when it comes to beauty treatments. As of today, I am going into three months after the Dato incident and my skin has not recovered its melanin. Junto con el Picoway, hice algunos otros tratamientos como rellenos y tratamientos faciales. Tener en consideración que gasté más de 25,000 ARS en un año en este lugar y planeaba gastar aún más este año (2019). Estaba feliz con su excelente servicio al cliente, por lo tanto, les recomendé a algunos amigos y conocidos. Muy buena experiencia hasta diciembre. Fui a mi sesión programada de Picoway. Para mi sorpresa, la Dra me llevó a un área diferente de su establecimiento y me pidió que usara gafas de cama solar en lugar de de las gafas recomendadas para láser, que son transparentes. El láser es extremadamente doloroso sin importar dónde se aplique, pero esta vez lo sentí más. Tan pronto como me fui, apliqué hielo y ungüento curativo, pero la hinchazón no bajaba. No solo no pude deshacerme de las burbujas de agua que se formaron en la piel en toda el área tratada, sino que noté que quemaron mi piel virgen, sin tinta de tatuaje. Llamé una semana después y me sugirieron esperar. Llamé de nuevo en Enero. Sin solución. Luego, otra vez, y la señora Dato sugirió ir a ver a su dermatólogo para asegurarme de que la piel se iba a curar pronto. Cuando me dirigía a mi cita, ella llamó y canceló diciendo "No quería verte esta noche, solo sugerí esto para que te calmaras". Envié unas varias notas de voz durante las siguientes semanas y nuevamente, sin solución, sin compensación, sin disculpas por quemarme centímetros de mi propia piel, además de pasar todo el verano con un brazo cubierto. Por último, les concedí una nueva y última oportunidad de disculparse. Le envié a la señora Dato una amable nota de voz en la cual compartía mi frustración ya que tenía dos meses com mi piel lastimada y descolorida. Ella nunca respondió. Esperé unos días y envié otra nota de voz a su secretaria. Ya que estaba claramente molesta, Dato respondió de inmediato, pero con un tono muy sarcástico que me decía que "fue mi elección no exponer mi brazo al sol y cubrirlo todo el verano". Y que tengo que seguir esperando y por supuesto NO hay disculpas Y NO hay compensación. Por supuesto, puse fin a esta relación. Vean las fotos adjuntas para que puedan formar su propia opinión. No, no recomiendo este lugar. Por favor, tengan en cuenta que BA ofrece una gran variedad de lugares para tratamientos de belleza al mismo nivel de Estética Dato.
