I hate shopping, but I actually have fun here. Cay is honest about what does and doesn't work, and the atmosphere is fun. Other shoppers often compliment one another on their finds and share ideas about accessories. You can also keep to yourself if that's your preference. My boyfriend even felt comfortable there. There are regular specials (follow them on Facebook) and she put out treats for the holidays. I feel part of a community there. It's a special type of place you don't find often.

We were extremely pleased with the sales service as I'm disabled and needed more support than most. They took into consideration that my back is very bad and suggested that I get firmer cushions at no extra charge although it is a special order. What was particularly nice is that the building I live in is currently undergoing extermination for a very severe bedbug infestation and it will not be complete for a month. They offered to keep the furniture in their warehouse until such time as the building is certified clear. This was most impressive. With all these factors in mind we decided to cancel looking at any other store. Besides there was a sale on so it was a bit cheaper than normal even tho still more than Ashley and the brick but I'm sure less than lazyboy. It's not every day you get a new sofa meant to last probably the rest of your life!

My frustration was at the "lets's throw the watch out" level when I checked for watch repair businesses nearby. I subsequently contacted this business by phone and was told to bring it in as soon as I could. The watch was repaired that same day!! The work was efficiently done in a friendly manner. That's your advertisement right there, 11 out of 10 product, people, and service. Designing the ring was a ton of fun, make sure that you're not in a rush. My wife works in healthcare so the owner had some recommendations that really made the ring come together and not interfere with her work. Little modifications so gloves don't tear when you put them on, making sure her hair never gets caught on the ring, little things like that. Every time I came to the store front I was met with smiles, you can really tell all the employees love their jobs and want nothing but the best for their customers. At the first design meeting I was up front about my budget, and the owner was very respectful and diligent when designing the ring around my budget. It was never brought up a second time. This made the process very enjoyable and stress free as I new exactly how much everything was going to cost. The owner went out of her way to order custom cut diamonds from New York that where so beautiful she bought them knowing that type of diamond doesn't come around very often. After the fact I can come into the store front when ever is most convenient for me and they will clean my wife's ring and give it a quick once over, if there is anything less than perfect they take care of it right away! If you want to spend your hard earned money on a local, multi generational family business, that provides the highest standard of service, provides the highest standard of product, who genuinely takes care of their customers, then Tomkins is a no brainer.
