We bought a Yamaha Disclavier Upright baby grand piano many years ago from them. We also have had them service our piano when needed . From the beginning and till now we have not one complaint . The Owners are honest and good people who will do their very best to make your experience in buying a piano as easy as possible. Know Silicon Valley Piano will have pianos to fit every family's needs. From renting to buying. They are also one of the few exclusive distributor of C. Bechstein Pianos in California ! Note : Bechstein would allow Silicon Valley Piano to sell only if they were the best in service before and after the sale. Keep up the good work Silicon Valley Piano !

I was looking to get an acoustic piano but had no idea on what that process might be like or what to look for and I had an excellent experience at SVP. Bessie helped me find a piano that I'm super happy with and within my budget. She also took care of the movers and the process was way easier than I thought. Thank you Bessie!

The range I saw was from sale items at 49.99 up to 200+, they have a good, moderate amount of choices at each level, with different brands and accompanying acessories! My ukelele is a soprano, a great beginner ukelele I was practicing with, got it for $75 with tax and a carrying bag included in my purchase, if I remember correctly, tag price was $69.99 I did ask if there was something similar to a brand/type of ukelele I started my practice with but I was then getting sold onto the more expensive pieces that I didn't have experience with and didn't ask for so that was a miss for me. Wish I got more of a relevant recommendation but the workers were sweet, they let us browse by ourselves for a good amount of time before stepping in (which good for me because I needed time to think, compare, and browse). When we went, there were a handful of other customers inside the store, it's located in a small shopping center but the store is bigger inside than it appears on the outside. The parking situation was just okay, not bad, could use a tad bit more space, we went ~1p the parking lot was full minus 2-3 spots but I noticed cars came and went from the time we got there until we left so it seems like there's a couple spots free at any given time due to the traffic coming in and out for small errands. Lots of instruments and accessories to be found inside and the workers seem to be happy to help find what is needed! Pretty well organized inside to find what you need on your own though, I was able to find the ukeleles quickly.

We've had a fantastic experience with Yamaha's early childhood music program in Cupertino--…read morestarting with the Apple Class (ages 3-4) with Miss Sammi, a super caring and patient smiley teacher, and now continuing in JMC 1 (ages 4-5) with Miss Yuyu, whose teaching is lively and engaging. After trying several Bay Area programs that lacked consistency or a clear curriculum, Yamaha music programs stood out immediately. The teachers are stable, caring, experienced, and truly skilled in early music education. Each class blends singing, rhythm, ear training, movement, and keyboard work in a well-structured, age-appropriate sequence, so kids stay engaged and build real musical foundations without feeling overwhelmed. What we love most is balance: a joyful group setting where children learn together and cheer each other on singing and dancing, paired with plenty of individual attention. Our child has made remarkable progress--going from not reading music to recognizing melodies, understanding basic music theory, playing simple songs, and even making up little tunes at home. He looks forward to every class and comes out smiling, more confident each week. The school culture is equally impressive. Director Miss Su actively creates performance and growth opportunities--from the annual recital and internal competitions to community outreach, like sharing music at senior centers--so children of all ages and levels can step on stage, build confidence, and feel proud of their effort. Teachers also share Bay Area concert listings, encouraging families to listen, learn, and enjoy music together beyond the classroom. If you're looking for a fun, supportive, and truly effective start in music, we highly recommend Yamaha (especially the Apple and JMC 1 class in Cupertino). It's given our child a solid musical foundation, a love of learning, and the confidence to share music with others. We as parents, highly recommend Yamaha's music program and will continued !!!

However, the lady who runs the place neglected to mention that the interview will be followed by a class. In the end, we paid for a class we never asked for and also decided not to send our daughter either. Seemed mildly deceptive, won't recommend them unless you are super-sure of what you want.

With the patient guidance of Mr. and Mrs. Calder, she was able to come out of her shell and became more responsible and outgoing. One of the main reasons is that Mr. and Mrs. Calder treat them as adults. They give them the freedom to do things, set boundaries and limits and let them know the consequence. Once my daughter forgot to wake up and miss the gathering time, she and her roommate had to stay in the hotel. That is a good lesson for her because there are consequences to every action. From then on, they know that they have to be on time. I believe that they did the right thing and they help my daughter to be responsible and behave like an adult. Another highlight of the trip is that they have a performance exchange with the China Disabled Troupe. My daughter was dumbfounded when she saw all the performers having different levels of handicapped were able to overcome their physical limitations and perform to their best of abilities. They are sometimes better than the professionals. This experience has changed her totally. She thought if they can overcome life's obstacles, there is nothing an abled person can't do. She began to think how she can use her gifts and talents to do something for herself and others. That is a true turning point for a teenager. I have to thank Mr. and Mrs. Calder for their dedication over their years. They have inspired my daughter to see things from a different perspective.

Needless to say, not only is she very professional at piano, but also as most important is that she is very patient and nice and knows well how to encourage and teach our kid. Our daughter likes Nina a lot and she is really making progress and she will have a recital for the holiday celebration soon with Nina co-playing. Looking at the music journey where we started at 0 and now my kid can play lovely and quite complicated songs, it's just amazing, we hope with Nina the journey will bring us to further exciting milestones! Looking forward to the recital! Thanks Nina!

I can still remember that she was nervous in her first lesson with Nina. So I quietly told Nina before the class that she was a big Disney fan, and she blew her away by surprising her with Disney music. My littler girl was super excited and telling me how much she wanted to learn piano with Nina in the car on our way home. That's the time my little girl start liking piano. Nina is not only a teacher who always makes her lessons interesting, but also a good mentor who taught my little girl right learning attitude toward music, or any other things she learns in school. My little girl and Nina became friends both in lessons and after lessons. Additionally, Nina is very professional, having both her Bachelor's and Master's degree from top music schools in Piano major. We can make sure that my daughter's talent won't be ruined by those piano teachers who didn't have much professional training before and just teach for money ending up destroying children's potential piano careers. We are so blessed that we met Nina and have her to be my little girl's piano teacher. Our family are obviously huge fans of Nina's piano studio, and my 5 yr-old and I would both recommend her lessons to anybody who wants to take fun yet professional piano lessons.
