This has been such a disappointing experience. I had my consultation with Louis Lyons and was…read morepromised prompt handling and filing of my divorce and child support/custody case. I immediately retained and paid $4500 up front on June 5th. Only the divorce was filed. I have been ignored for almost 4 weeks now. Emails, texts, calls and going in person to their office does not get me a response or answers. I still have NO answer as to why child support and custody orders have not been filed. We have no court date established to discuss these terms. Jill, the paralegal has never answered why temporary orders were never filed. I have written documentation asking her this over SIX times with no answer. She has not responded to me since July 17th. I went to their office to get answers on August 4th and neither attorney was willing to meet with me. I cannot understand why after retaining this firm over 10 weeks ago, they have failed to do what I paid them for. I feel lied to. If they were too busy to handle my case, they shouldn't have taken my $4500. I have since fired them and sent a demand email a week ago requesting my client file, any documentation, accounting and unearned portion of my legal fees paid. I am fairly certain this will be going to arbitration and complaints filed with the state bar association. After having a few consultations with other firms, I have been told that this is not unique to them-- this is a common complaint they are known for. Proceed with caution with this law firm. The front desk girls are nice, but are only able to provide apologies and zero clarity.

I would not recommend Maison Law to anyone…read more They accepted my case knowing all of the facts, including that the door involved was manual, not automatic. After keeping my case for over two years, putting me through countless phone calls, paperwork, and delays, I was suddenly told that an attorney had reviewed the case and they would no longer represent me because liability was being denied. If that was their position, they should have made that decision when they first accepted my case--not after wasting two years of my time. Communication was one of the biggest problems. My settlement negotiator, Andrew Pacheco, often took months to respond, and getting an update on my case was extremely difficult. I rarely received proactive communication and constantly had to follow up myself. The office also seemed very disorganized. Nearly every time I called, I was told someone different was handling my case. It felt like there was no consistency, no accountability, and no one who actually knew the status of my file. Speaking directly with an attorney was nearly impossible. The staff was frequently discourteous and unprofessional, and the overall level of customer service was disappointing. I expected clear communication and professionalism from a law firm, but that was not my experience. After more than two years, I was left exactly where I started--without representation and having lost valuable time that could have been spent pursuing my case elsewhere. If you're looking for a law firm that communicates well, stays organized, and values your time, my experience suggests you should look elsewhere.

I live in Colorado and found myself needing an attorney in Tulare County after being served with…read morewhat I believed was a completely unfounded restraining order in 2024. Hiring a lawyer from another state was stressful, but from my first phone call with Mr. Boggs, I knew I had made the right decision. He was affordable, responsive (I messaged him at 535 am and by 741 am he responded), confident, and wasted no time getting started on my case. Throughout the next two years, he was there for every hearing, every filing, and every challenge. He never showed up unprepared. It was clear he always had a strategy and was thinking ahead, not just reacting to what the other side was doing. My case involved multiple court dates, unreasonable demands, and countless hours of preparation, yet Mr. Boggs never backed down. He fought hard for me from beginning to end. One thing that really stood out was his integrity. Even though my case lasted two full years, he honored the original flat fee we agreed on. There were no surprise bills or requests for additional money. He stood by his word and stood by me. On July 27, 2026, after two long years, Mr. Boggs won my case. I can't adequately express how grateful I am for his dedication, professionalism, and perseverance. If you're looking for an attorney who genuinely cares about his clients, is strategic in the courtroom, and will fight for you every step of the way, I highly recommend Mr. Boggs and the Boggs Law Firm. Thank you for helping me get my life back.

I hired Mark Zimmerman for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy through my ARAG legal plan. My coverage…read moreidentified the attorney fees as paid in full and stated that I owed $0 in attorney fees. I understood that I was responsible for the filing fee. I met with Mr. Zimmerman once to discuss the case. ARAG paid his office for my case, and I paid the office $300 with the understanding that it was for the filing fee. Soon afterward, I began receiving bills for $1,200. The office gave me a list of information and documents to gather, but the form stated that it would not accept my paperwork until an initial deposit was paid. During a later phone conversation, Mr. Zimmerman told me that ARAG had not paid him enough to cover his fee. He said I needed to get ARAG to pay him more or he would not work on my case. This appeared inconsistent with the ARAG network agreement, which states that network attorneys accept the applicable fee-schedule payment as payment in full for covered services unless the client's plan permits an additional attorney fee. His office later said it had applied my $300 toward attorney fees and that I still owed another $500. Other than meeting with me once, Mr. Zimmerman did no work on my bankruptcy case. His office never accepted my documents, so there was no bankruptcy paperwork for him to review or prepare. No petition or other paperwork was completed, and nothing was filed with the court. I later received a letter stating that my file was being closed because I had not moved forward within 60 days and that none of my money would be refunded. However, his office was refusing to accept my documents or move forward unless additional money was paid. ARAG paid his office, I paid the office $300, no work was performed on my bankruptcy beyond the initial meeting, nothing was filed, and the office has refused to refund my money.

I hired Sarah to represent me in a criminal case. In the two year period of our professional…read morerelationship, whenever I asked about my case, she said she heard nothing about my case. I was never called in to see the judge, was obviously interested in information, and part of her job was to monitor the calls before the court. Two years, she said she knew nothing even though she had worked for the local DA, told me she knew people and could find out any changes when issued. At the end of the two years I asked for a report to give my licensing department that mentioned the current progress of my case. I sent her a letter from my licensing group so that she could have the idea of info they wanted. Our emails went back and forth with me giving her directions about how to write the letter without making me look like a common criminal. She had a rough time with it, I eventually wrote it and had her sign that all of the points were true to her knowledge. I find out, a few years later that she had snuck an email into our last group of emails that stated that the DA had dismissed the case two months AFTER the detainment. I could have kept my job with that I formation, I could have kept my family with that information, and there would have been two years that I wasn't stressed beyond belief and had gone on with my life had this attorney been truthful. Now, she is a judge. How in the fuck does something like this occur without incentive?
