He then lied about the gas level by 1/4. When I confronted him about it, he said "oh don't worry about it" and supposedly corrected it on the form and then initialed it. Little to my surprise when I arrived at the destination, he still lied about the correct level. I ended up having to pay extra on gas because the receiving branch didn't care (2nd red flag). Finally, he stated that the one way rental didn't charge for extra miles, and the receiving branch said nope, and then pointed at the fine print. Joe said it would be $120 total out the door, I ended up having to pay extra for the few extra miles it was over. All in all, I went from a $65 quote, to about $127.45 plus $12 extra to fill the gas tank to the lie he wrote. Do yourself a favor, avoid doing business with Joe or this location. In my opinion, he's got very questionable moral character and is very sneaky. If you do business here, make sure you double check everything, their policy is basically to try to see how they can take advantage of everything. He dared say oh the gas level will adjust itself when the truck is leveled, that it was inclined, etc. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is so business at your own risk. I didn't want to be judgmental, but I should've trusted my gut feeling. Either way I was stuck with few choices in the end.

My 2020 International LT is losing coolant very quickly, about a gallon every 4 hours of driving. I told them to take their time diagnosing it and don't feel rushed to get it done before the 4th of July holiday. However, the did it quickly anyway which lead me to believe they did a rushed job to go home for the holidays. Supposedly (which I highly doubt they did correctly) they did a pressure check on the cooling system and found no issues, so they just threw in a radiator cap thinking it'll fix the issue. Guess what? It didn't. Four hours later, my truck ran out of coolant again.

This location is an embarrassment to Avis…read more I'm an Avis President's Club member and reserved an Elite Electric SUV for a client-facing work trip. I booked the vehicle class intentionally because I needed something clean and professional. When I arrived, I was told the vehicle I reserved "wouldn't be available until next week." No explanation. Meanwhile, a Mustang Mach-E was literally parked right outside in plain view. I was offered "a Ford or a Mazda" with no explanation of car type or class and was dismissively told it was "higher." After reviewing Avis' car class list, t wasn't. It was clearly a downgrade and it cost me $150+ in gas that I would not have paid if Avis had honored the reservation. The condition of the car was disgusting. Not "a little dusty," but filthy: sticky stains, grime, crumbs, and a smoky smell. Whoever is responsible for cleaning vehicles at this location clearly didn't even attempt to do their job. I had to spend over 30 minutes scrubbing and vacuuming the car myself because I was not about to pick up a client in a vehicle that looked and smelled like that. The key fob was broken with the battery exposed. The vehicle also had multiple maintenance and safety issues: constant tire pressure warnings (all four tires missing valve caps, likely causing this), a loose gas cap that triggered error codes and a flashing dash warning all weekend, and worn-out windshield wipers in rainy weather that were legitimately a safety hazard. Then the return experience: the employee rolled her eyes at me, stared at me like I was an inconvenience, and actually laughed when I raised legitimate safety concerns. No apology. No acknowledgement. No professionalism. Honestly, the attitude was as gross as the car itself. I also watched her treat other customers the same way. This location does not appear to maintain vehicles, does not appear to clean them, and does not seem to care about customers at all. If you value your time, safety, or sanity, rent literally anywhere else. I won't be renting from here ever again and may be terminating my relationship with Avis all together over this horrible experience.
