Essentially you will be called by a recruiter who doesn't even look at the information you submit, or know what position you applied for, and asks you questions they would already have the answers to if they even glanced at your resume to start with. When it come to the interview process they don't even remember or respect the fact that you already told them what your availability is via email. This was also after they called to follow up on my application several days ago. I returned their call after work with my availability, did not receive a return call. I called again the next day and still did not receive a return call. I finally decided to email them and finally received a reply via email and a call later that day. He basically stated that they would interview me and see what they could find for me. That was not the purpose of my applying for that job. If you are applying for a particular job, you should be able to expect to interview for that job. I declined, stating I am a serious professional looking to make a serious job change, applying for specific jobs I am intrerested in and qualified for. I would steer clear from them if you are a serious, professional seeking employment or a company seeking quality employees. They are definitely unorganized and unprofessional at best. They than contacted me again a week later and when I stopped in it was for the same job. Spherion contacts you based on mailing lists, I suspect, and they don't really do their homework before making their decisions. If you really need a job than go ahead and use them but make sure to ask a lot of questions when your with them. Otherwise you'll either waste your time or end up signing on to something you don't really understand.
