It is hard to find customer service like this anymore.

We chose this place because of the stellar reviews, and appointments are required. The CPA we worked with was nice, but the service wasn't what we expected. My questions were sort of brushed aside. We paid $179 to file here. While it might be great for some, this isn't the right place for us.

I've used HRB for years and was satisfied. But, unless I presented the roadmap to reach my goals,…read moreHRB would only "color between the lines." I am NOT tax savvy and I need someone to be that for me. Facing some unique items in 2025, such as two self-employments within my household, some 401K business, and some first-time filers among my adult children, I needed the tax professional: someone to file and advise. Through the recommendation of a friend, I called Sharon. After a couple of meetings at her Nocatee office, submitting personal records, and completing Beachside's tax worksheets, Sharon had my taxes prepared with a more positive result than what HRB had estimated. I'll meet with Sharon again soon, to discuss 2026 taxes, future 401K business, and my upcoming retirement. Thank you Sharon and Beachside!

We need to utilize the services of an accounting firm with specialized expertise in complex accounting and Buttner and Hammock fit the bill. As a matter of fact, their firm found errors that the prior auditor had made on the previous year's audit. They didnt charge us an additional fee to correct the prior audit. We were so pleased with their work that we will ALWAYS be a loyal Buttner and Hammock customer. They are indeed top notch.

Why do you hire a professional? I believe that I am like most people in that I hire a professional…read moreto do something that is too risky for me to do myself. Now, a professional gets paid more the more likely it seems that he can protect you from such harm. Swindell has been my family's CPA for several years now and the average yearly cost has been more than $2,000. Imagine the surprise I felt when I was audited by the IRS. How much protection do you think this "professional" offered me? Aggressive pleading with the IRS? Nope. Assumption of the damages and fine? Nope. An offer to reduce my bill on future tax filings? Nope. I spent thousands of dollars over several years and in the end was abandoned by my professional. Honestly, I could have received the same service at H&R Bloch for $75. Maybe you'll have better luck with this firm, but you really won't know until the chips are down...
