But what makes me unwilling to ever go back, was how the payment process went. After I got the haircut, I went to the register. Instead of handing me the credit card device (think it's referred to as "toast" because that's the company that makes them), the woman held it away from me, and into an alcove where I couldn't reach it. She asked if I wanted to leave a tip, which of course I wanted to, but without handing me the device, she held her hand over 25% and asked rhetorically "25%? " I have to say, I've never been in that kind of situation before. I went back for an adjustment (they give you 30 minutes for a free adjustment if you ask within 2 weeks of your original appointment) and the stylist saw the issue but basically told me that there was not enough time to actually fix the problem. Instead she made some other adjustments to distract from the issue. As my hair is growing, I'm seeing the poorly graded front layers coming further and further into stark relief. I'm working my best to style around this, but I will not be going back and definitely do not think the cut was worth the price I paid. I'll have to pay another $200 to someone else sooner rather than later. My 3 stars is due to good communication from the establishment, and that the rest of the hair cut was well done - except..... the front....... the part you want to be at its best..... I do not recommend any curly girl getting their hair cut here.
