Choosing what type of seat wasn't necessarily straightforward because there are several tiers to the economy section. I ended up paying more for economy delight, which offered more legroom and the benefit of only having one seat next to you. While I did enjoy it overall there was something that really irritated me. It was several hundred dollars more to upgrade to economy delight yet they couldn't toss in WiFi access with that? Having to pay an extra 20 or 30 pounds for that seemed petty. I really loved the size of the screen on the entertainment unit, which really helped pass the time. For going to London the flight left after 10pm so I was able to sleep through a significant portion of it, which was also nice. But speaking of that I found it really bizarre that at 12:30am they had still not turned off the cabin lights. Next time an eye mask is going to be an absolute must. The crew was really attentive and they handed out food (even treats) at regular intervals. I can definitely see myself taking this trip again.

At 5am after I had already loaded my worried guests up in my car to take them to the airport-they called and said they were about 5 minutes away. 15 mins after they were supposed to already be there. I told them to cancel because we were already driving to the airport ourselves, and they said "ok" and hung up. No apology no mention of a refund- nothing. I have used towncar services in the are several times, and every time they showed up early. I understand things happen but that phone call should have came about 20 mins earlier, especially when you know someone is going to the airport. Also, an apology and a refund should have followed.

She explained when I should expect my visa including delay due to two Chinese holidays that the embassy would be closed. The price for the service was $248 which included completing the paperwork, taking the required picture for the application, mailing off the application with the passport, and picking the visa and passport up at their office. That was a great deal because other agencies in the area were charging upwards of $270 and that's without filling out the paperwork or the picture that needed to be submitted with a Visa. She even took multiple pictures and gave them to me just in case I needed to submit a picture for future visas. That's a big savings right there because two 2x2 passport photos at Walgreens cost $14.99 and she gave me 5 extra! The Visa came back in the expected time frame. When I picked up my Visa, she explained to me everything about the Visa including it being a multiple entry Visa, 60 day stay per entry, good for up to 10 years and when the Visa would expire. She explained to me because my passport will expire before my Visa does that I need to just remember to keep my current passport after it expires so that I can still use the visa because it can still be used with a new passport after my current passport expires. Katrina was professional. The service was cost-effective and efficient. If I need to get another hard to get visa again, I would definitely use Union Visa. I hear a Russian visa is pretty hard to get so I would definitely use this company if I decide to go visit the Kremlin :-)
