    Weaver Memorials

    Weaver Memorials

Working with Weaver Memorials has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences…read moreI've ever endured. I placed an order for my late father's headstone at their York location in December 2024. It took me time to work up the courage to get this done, but I chose to support a local, family-owned business, believing I would receive care and professionalism during such a sensitive time. Unfortunately, what I received was the complete opposite. From the very beginning, this process has been emotionally exhausting and filled with unprofessionalism. When I placed the order, I made it clear--multiple times--that the headstone needed to be flat due to cemetery regulations. This requirement had been discussed months earlier when I obtained a quote, and I reiterated it during my December visit. The employee I worked with assured me she would verify this with the cemetery before finalizing the order. She even consulted with her supervisor, who is part of the family that owns Weaver Memorials. Despite these assurances, I was contacted days later and told that the stone I purchased could not be placed in the cemetery. This happened even though I was explicitly promised verification beforehand. To make matters worse, instead of immediately correcting the mistake, the office attempted to upsell me on a more expensive stone in order to reduce my refund. I had to insist that the order be modified to a compliant flat headstone of the same material. I was repeatedly promised a refund within 3-5 business days, and an addendum to the order confirmed this. However, two weeks later, no refund had been issued. When I followed up in January 2025, I was told something completely different--that I would not receive the refund until the headstone was placed, which could take six months. This was a direct contradiction of their written promise and completely unacceptable. It left me feeling deceived, financially strained, and taken advantage of after I had already paid in full. For months, I emailed multiple people and made numerous calls, but received little to no response. By May, I still had no refund, and the headstone had not been placed. When I contacted them for an update, I was told they had been waiting on me to approve a sketch they had "supposedly" emailed. I had never received such an email or proof, and during those 5-6 months, no one followed up with me even once. Their negligence delayed both the placement of my father's headstone and my refund by another 6-8 weeks. Then, on August 4, 2025--my sister's death anniversary--I visited the cemetery and discovered my father's headstone (next to hers) had been placed without my knowledge. No one from Weaver Memorials contacted me to inform me it was installed, nor did they notify me that my refund would finally be processed. When I called, I was told it had been placed in mid-July, meaning weeks had gone by without any communication. Even then, I had to follow up twice more before my refund was finally issued. What makes this experience even more infuriating is that this seems to be a disturbing trend in this industry. When my sister passed 10 years ago, I faced similar problems with the ordering of her headstone--delays, lack of communication, and broken promises. To see the same unprofessional patterns repeating a decade later is deeply troubling and unacceptable. This entire ordeal has been unacceptable. Instead of easing a painful process, Weaver Memorials caused unnecessary emotional and financial hardship at one of the most vulnerable times in my life. Their repeated lack of professionalism, broken promises, failure to communicate, and outright negligence are inexcusable. I regret ever placing my trust in this company, and I would strongly caution anyone against doing the same.

The salesman was so helpful and patient in explaining things every step of the way . I highly recommend them to others .

Wes & Gold - My wedding band

    Wes & Gold

When you get married, it's meant to be forever, and each partnering is completely unique. So, when…read moresearching and searching for wedding rings for our own upcoming wedding why did we keep seeing the same non-unique designs? Ah, yes, in every glass case, more and more soul-less wedding bands that looked machine-made. Where was the uniqueness? None of the rings I saw were mine. None were meant for me. I had almost given up and settled which ironically is the very thing I would never do in a relationship. Was I going to have to settle on a ring to symbolize my marriage? I thought so until we stumbled upon the beautiful work and craftsmanship of Wes & Gold. This was it! Yes, these were our rings. I've been fortunate enough to wear my ring for the past seven years. It is so light (titanium and stainless steel), but so strong...just as a great relationship should be. It looks as good as the day I bought it for my wedding seven years ago. So, when I inherited a loose diamond from a beloved relative it seemed only appropriate to have the stone added to the Wes & Gold wedding ring I love so much. From the first inquiry email, Christine and Wes guided me through the process, assured me, expressed enthusiasm, and made me confident to take off my wedding ring and send it to them miles away. Today, less than three weeks later, I received my ring more unique, more personal than ever. I can't thank Wes & Gold enough for the immense creativity, engineering and customer service they offer to me and I'm sure countless others. I'll have my eye on another ring in my future from them. Not for a new marriage, but because their designs are just what I would want to be in life: Strong, unique, and beautiful. If you are looking for rings to symbolize your unique partnership I highly recommend you check out Wes & Gold. Let your special day...your special love symbolized by something truly special. If you're single, don't worry. You're special, too. Treat yourself. Go! What are you waiting for an engraved invitation?
