I have never been so overwhelmed by phone calls, emails, text messages, and follow-up attempts from any business. Since Monday, and today is only Wednesday, I have received approximately a dozen emails, half a dozen text messages, and multiple phone calls. Despite repeatedly opting out and unsubscribing through multiple channels, the communications continue. What's frustrating is that this company offers exactly the type of housing I'm looking for. However, I have decided not to do business with them because of what I consider to be an extremely aggressive, inappropriate, and unprofessional marketing approach. Not a single other company I contacted has behaved this way. As a result, I will be leaving a one-star review for every unwanted marketing email I receive going forward. My company is currently relocating several people to this area, and I have already advised all of them to avoid interacting with this company online. The relentless follow-up and apparent disregard for opt-out requests have made the experience completely unacceptable. Absolutely ridiculous.

It is ridiculous that they are so strict knowing how the economy has been for the past years. I know for a fact that people with much less income have been approved because they don't even have a credit history for not having lived in the United States long enough. Hopefully I will find a place willing to lease me a home or else Sarasota County Schools will just lose a teacher for not having where to live.

All of which were recently renovated This compound is one acre and has two homes. The second priority was outdoor space with 6 kids from 2 to 13 to run and play. The property offered that as well with lots of game options like cornhole, golf, soccer, frisbee golf and more. The pool was large and there is a hot tub The kitchens nice and are well stocked. Not a fan of induction stove top - very finicky even with correct cookware. The large game room became an evening gathering place. Now the not so good. I chose the property because of my love for pickleball that I wanted to teach the grands. The court is a joke There are no sides as it is walled right at lines It is built on a slope so every ball off back rolls down driveway out the gate and down the street Worst of all the ac condensation flows all through the court turning it into an ice skating rink as I learned quickly Speaking of ice skating. At least 7 of us slipped and fell around the pool and no we were not running. It is treacherous. Now let's talk service level from Albert at Anchor. From the time I made a reservation to questions in advance of our stay it took multiple calls and follow ups to get responses. The same was true on property. We had the porch roof partially collapse and asked if it was safe or at least should be cautioned taped in area Sent some one to clean up but no other response. We had no hot water most of our stay. We called texted emailed and the only response was there's a work order on for it. Never happened I would be concerned about renting from this group. When on vacation - a very costly one- it should not be as tough as it was to get responses and support when issues arise. We chose to rent through them because cheaper than air b and b or Vrbo. I guess maybe we got what we paid over 10k for idk?

Lake O Woods AKA camping with the woods Say it to yourself out loud....I am willing to go on family vacation and kill ants and roaches daily and be okay with replacing all food items that were purchased and washing all dishes that roaches and ants were in contact with. Maybe the people I communicated with about my issues this is a normal day in their life dealing with the insect at their house. Definitely not okay at my house. . If I owned the house I would be embarrassed. Just as I was to introduce this experience to my family. I know I sent a text with pictures and videos of a snapshot of what we got to experience. It was handled with a service person for roaches and ants, plumbing issues call and a apologizing text. So good on management company on responding right!? Ants. Roaches. Ants. Wasps. Roaches. Broken closet light in the master. Roaches. Ants. Shower not draining/toilet leak/backup (NOT caused by us per the plumber) repeat on ants and roaches killing daily with my own spray I purchased while on this vacation. Explaining the insect infestation to the family members you invited on vacation and your toddler children....fun right on vacation right!? We booked this rental because it was phenomenal last year. This year the place has clearly taken some steps back. I don't know how I ended up paying the price I paid $3500 to do basically camping with a private pool that ended with green algae/moss in it by the end of the stay. My wife will not let us and our family return to this property.. Explaining daily why we have to buy new food because the bugs took it over is not something someone should have to do on vacation. Nor is it a vacation when you see 3 different house service people. (Maintenance, plumber, pest inspection) there are so many places to do business with down here.... Unfortunately this was a tough expensive experience. I don't know what the fix should have been...(maybe finding us a property that could get us in if vacant) another idea is that when a service needs to happen....should I bet the person to be taking to the plumber or pest control or should there be a liaison from said management company there to handle it.... However I wasn't able to book another property after day 1 and 2 and 3 of issues. I would have loved to book a hotel for 8 or get out of this infested house... But that's not possible when you are binded by the money you already spent on this rental. Again a truly expensive experience lesson learned. Make it make sense. Reach out for questions. I have video of the roaches and will upload them if this could help someone else decide who to do business with. bryansmithatc@gmail.com This might be standard for some companies to respond this way. After all is done - we checked out on Tuesday and the management company/owner agreed to compensate me %50 of the full monies spent on Thursday afternoon Unfortunate Respectfully, Bryan Smith Oklahoma City

Living in Magnolia the past 13 months have been a great experience for my wife and I. We moved in…read moreafter getting married. Before choosing Magnolia, we toured many other apartments throughout East & West Bradenton and parts of Sarasota. Many were at similar price ranges but offered less and were dated. We are really happy that we chose Magnolia over any other options. Marty helped sign us on, and was a great help throughout the past year. So was Waldy (he drove over one Sunday night to let us in when we locked ourselves out by accident). Probably the best things in my opinion about Magnolia is the quality of the people, the amount of people (not overcrowded like many other apartments!), and the location is private and relaxing. Amenities and apartment design are pretty great too! Leaving is bittersweet. Thanks for everything!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I…read morehave rented for over 10 years and have always been a responsible, on-time resident. I have never missed a rent payment, never had an outstanding balance, and have always received my deposits back. My experience here has been completely different. The biggest issue was the water/sewer billing. The charges were populated through the Magnolia Estates rental portal, and I paid every bill that was presented to me, on time and in full. I was consistently being charged around $60/month for water/sewer. Then, AFTER I moved out, I was hit with a $1,325.62 water/sewer bill. How is a resident supposed to know there is a billing issue when the management company is the one providing the charges through the resident portal? If I am paying exactly what I am being billed every month, how am I suddenly responsible for over $1,300 after moving out? If the water/sewer was being billed incorrectly, why wasn't this caught and corrected while I was living there? Isn't that exactly what a property management company is supposed to monitor and handle? I have never experienced something like this in 10 years of renting. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism has been extremely frustrating. I did everything I was supposed to do as a resident, paid my bills on time and in full, and was still left dealing with a massive charge after moving out. I strongly recommend thinking twice before renting here. DO NOT RENT HERE. My experience has been an absolute nightmare and with Shelia as the property manager I would not recommend this complex to anyone looking for a professional and trustworthy property management experience. She didn't answer me for the first 25 days ignoring me because it wasn't important to her. I hope she got those inspections done for section 8 that she was doing the whole time apparently and couldn't call or email for 25 days.
