Going to the dentist usually feels like being summoned for jury duty - necessary, but not exactly…read moresomething you look forward to. But stepping into Anna Chuckman DDS in Valencia turned that notion on its head, making dental visits feel more like a VIP backstage concert pass. First off, their staff is friendlier than your favorite childhood cartoon character. Tammie is a superstar there and has been there for years. She knows your details better than you do. They navigate insurance policies with the skill of an Olympic gymnast sticking a perfect landing. And their tech? It's so cutting-edge, I half expected them to offer me a trip to space as part of my dental cleaning package. I had heard about procedures to make a crown as requiring multiple visits and multiple injections. They use artificial intelligence not only to help design the crown, but also to manufacture right there in the facility. So one hour later, I had a brand new 2023 model crown on my molar. No more waiting for the crown, no more temporary crown placement. Now let's talk about the Chuckmans, Anna and Adam. They're as easy to talk to as your best friend, with the bonus of not sharing embarrassing stories from your past. Their competence shines brighter than the overhead dental lamp, and they have this magical ability to ease anxiety, akin to a soothing lullaby during a thunderstorm. Initially, I was very anxious about getting a crown since I hadn't had one before. Plus, who wouldn't be if when you have a high-speed drill 2 inches away from your brain rotating at 10,000 RPM. However, after the initial anxiousness, I calmed down and they allowed me to go at my own pace. At one point I was so relaxed during the procedure that I almost asked if they could throw in a luxury treatment like a teeth whitening. In all seriousness, they made a typically nerve-wracking experience feel like a walk in a (very hygienic) park. In short, if you need a dental practice that treats you like royalty, navigates insurance like a pro, and uses tech that would make sci-fi fans jealous, Anna Chuckman DDS is your spot. They've got my seal of approval, five stars, and a hearty recommendation for anyone seeking a dentist who makes you smile in more ways than one.

Once I arrived the wait was a bit longer than I expected. Finally I was called by the receptionist who whispered, "I don't know if they told you, but there's a $450 payment due before you can see the doctor, and we don't accept insurance." "You can see if your insurance will reimburse you, they might since this is considered preventative." I laughed and said No, I wasn't told. I'd driven over an hour so I paid it. After I paid the $450 I sat about 10 minutes and someone came smiling to take me on a "Tour" of the office. Yes, the office is "High Tech" I felt as if it was staged and all who played a part would get a bit of the $450 I payed that day. The two brothers, I believe one is a DDS were very relaxed and there was just something different about them. I felt as if they were putting on an act. After showing me the office they took X-rays, showed me and explained a bit of the procedures, answered questions and back to the waiting room. I was then called into an office and presented with some suggested minerals to take prior to beginning the procedure, $165. Next came the cost. Glad I was sitting down because $46,000 would have floored me. This spoke volumes to me. I honestly didn't feel comfortable from the receptionist whispering, to the DDS coming in the room gocking at me, to the person selling me the minerals. Have you ever been somewhere you know you're not welcome. That's how I felt. I'd actually spend the money if I felt welcomed and treated the same as the others who came in. So for me it's a NO! If I'm to spend that amount of money it's going to be with a business who values my business and respects me as a person. And know, it's not what you say, but how you are treated!

My tooth was extremely inflamed I couldn't chew on that side it was so beyond painful. ANYWAYS, The Dentist at Bouquet Smile fixed it and explained to me in detail how invasive a root canal is and that I didn't actually need one. I love the honestly and the speed of service. The assistants were super cool also very easy to get along with and they were funny which is nice because the Dentist can be scary. The price was $90 for a filling and I had minimal pain afterwards. Since I have a gagging reflex she had another Assistant help her by pushing the button on the X-ray machine while she inserted the X-ray. Therefore it was in such a small time that my gagging reflex did not kick in. Natasha is thoughtful, accommodating and gentle. I like her. She is down to earth. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST…read more My initial impression was good. The front desk staff was very friendly and my exam seemed to go normally. To my surprise, I was quoted over $1400 for treatment. I asked for an itemized bill and they sent over billing specialist who gave me a 3 page treatment plan. I let them know very politely that I did not need another appointment and would be getting a second opinion. The billing specialist immediately changed demeanor and pressured me into booking an appointment as soon as possible because if I didn't get my teeth fixed with their dental procedures I would probably have to get a crown which would cost over $2000 dollars. On top of that, while they were doing my dental cleaning, the hygienist left a piece of floss between my teeth. I paid for my cleaning and left without making a followup treatment appointment. I got my teeth looked at by a different dentist. I was quoted $122 for 2 simple fillings. I am absolutely befuddled that this establishment has any many positive reviews and FURIOUS that they are allowed to run scams like this. If you care about ethics at all, I recommend that you switch dentists. For the record, I don't write Yelp reviews, but it makes me sick thinking about people getting taken advantage of.
