I had no idea what to expect but was absolutely amazed. This is a beautiful little Polish restaurant with a very rustic decor that serves some very traditional styles of Polish food. But the great thing is, it's attached into a horse stable business where while you eat you can directly into the training arena for the horses under a large roof. Then afterwards you can walk around and see the stables and areas where the horses are kept, trained and very well cared for. We started with some type of traditional Polish soup which was amazing and then I had some type of pork cutlets in gravy over a grainy like barely sort of thing which told was from corn and was very healthy and very Polish. Plus there was a little salad bar area where you could fix a bowl of this really tasty cabbage salad with veggies and marinated beet root. Finding this place is not the easiest as it's down a long gravel very rutted out road. But totally worth finding and I was grateful for the experience.

The interior was warm and charming, and the menu was extensive. I had the spinach and goat cheese pierogis, with a bowl of borscht and my goodness, was my meal delicious! My husband had the sirloin steak and raved about it. Service was excellent and courteous. Although the prices might seem a little high, with the exchange rate what it was during our visit, we really couldn't complain. This was a great choice for good, solid Polish food in a welcoming environment.

Very old-style and homey Polish interior: flower-printed table cloths, candles, wooden chairs, and very majestic, castle-inspired furniture and decor. Our waiter was more than just polite. He never turned his back at us when leaving our table, but instead backed away slowly and out, which made us feel royal. At start, he served us an appetizer on the house: a Polish traditional food called "szmalec." We then ordered a couple traditional Polish foods. They serve most Polish dishes. The food was amazing, and as I usually request, he made sure my dish was gluten free. I had the deer ragout, which was delightful. My friend tried the Polish beet soup and dumplings filled with ground meat. At the end, our waiter served us two glasses each of two different liqueurs commonly drunk in Poland. We had wine to the meals. The check ended in around 180 Polish zlotys, which equals around $57. I highly recommend this secret place. Even though it won't be such a secret for very long then.

Now forgive me for not remembering the fillings, or the sauce, but the memories of just enjoying the flavors is still with me that I tried to find similar taste here in the States and have not found a place yet. Later, as we were walking down the stairs, we noticed the walls were lined with photos of the owner with famous people such as Angela Merkel, the Dali Lama and many more. The marinated herring was so enjoyable as well. The fish was tender and the citrus profile of the sauce was a fantastic complement to the dish. The Chicken Soup was as good as chicken soup could be. Warm and savory. And finally the dessert. The fluffy meringue pie was very good as well but after a few bites, the sweetness got to me. The buttery and slightly crisp puff pastry melts in your mouth along NG with the tender and juicy beef in which the demi-glace adds additional flavor to the already mouth-watering profile. The Bluefin Tuna was the final item I tried and the tender, fresh and scrumptious flavor of the tuna paired with the black truffle, avocado, artichoke and teriyaki sauce...so good. I unfortunately did not have enough room for dessert but wow I watched the items pass by me landing at other tables and I was so wanting to try one of them but not one single bite more of anything could've fit in my stomach.
