I just don't have enough amazing things say about this phenomenal dynamic duo of photographers! First of all, I don't just think of Rick and Lee as "photographers," because they are so much more than that. They are two really awesome people who are fun to be around, are passionate about their craft, and are really, really, good at what they do. When my husband and I started our search for vendors, we knew, knew, knew that photography was our #1 priority. No matter what hiccups could happen on our wedding day, we knew one thing for sure -- we wanted to be able to remember it. And we wanted to end up with portraits that will look classic 50 years from now as they're passed down through the family. Our objective was met and THEN some with Rick and Lee: From the first time we met Rick and Lee, we just KNEW they needed to be at our wedding. It was clear they have a great deal of experience working weddings and they just "get it," when it comes to every aspect of a bride and groom's wedding day. Then, the awesome experience we had with our engagement photo shoot just confirmed ten times over that we made the right choice. The engagement shoot was a perfect way to get us warmed up to the camera, because lets face it, folks, when was the last time you had professional photos of yourself taken? It's sort of awkward at first, but Rick and Lee put you at ease, encourage you to be yourselves, and then just fade away into the background. I was amazed at how many awesome pictures they got of us. On our wedding day, Rick and Lee went above and beyond. It was so awesome to have two photographers there, so you can get more shots, but more than that, these two are married themselves! They are in total sync with each other, and it's really cool to watch them on their walkies as they arrange to sneak the bride past the groom for photos before the ceremony. As a bride, it was so great to have Lee in my corner because she is so caring and when she saw how nervous I was, she knew just the right things to say to put me at ease. Now that our wedding day is over, one of the main compliments we get from our guests was that we had GREAT photographers. Everyone said how professional they were, and when it came to taking the dreaded family photos after the ceremony, it was actually quite painless, thanks to Rick and Lee. And the photos....we could not be any happier with the volume and quality of photos we have from our wedding day. Working with Rick and Lee was truly an awesome experience, and my only regret throughout this whole process is that I did not write this review sooner!! My husband and I look forward to having more portraits taken by them in the future whenever we start a family. read more

"What can I say, These people ROCK!. Not only did they take just beautiful pictures of my wedding, they are the nicest people to work with. Very professional yet caring enough to want what's best for us. Rare these days. We visited so many photographers prior to finding these guys and I was just not feeling the love. We went to some of the 'Name' photographers that have full sized ads in the magazines and they all just wanted to book us telling us what we wanted to hear. We felt like customers in a used car lot! Lee and Rick Siegel invited us into their home with their little dog Maggie and had us relax and we chatted for a while as they took notes about all that we wanted and never gave us the impression that we were anything other than friends. On the wedding day, I was so nervous and my fiancee was even more so. Lee was a doll. She was soft and sweet and reassured me that everything was fine and Rick took photos of everything! Even my shoes! Throughout the day, lee was constantly helping me as she would fluff my gown when needed, she carried an emergency 'kit' with safety pins and even had my touchup lipstick whenever I needed it. All the while she was taking pictures of my girls being silly and having a great time. Rick is very quick to get some special shots posted on his blog and while we were on vacation in Hawaii, we logged on to check our e-mail and we were treated to some great memories of our day. Thank you Rick that made our day! By the time we got home from our honeymoon, all of the pictures had been posted on the web for us to see. They made this very easy by separating them into categories and we all had fun at my parents house looking at each photo. One after the other was so good! I cried all night! :) Despite being a very popular studio, Rick always has time for me when I call to ask questions. Like I said, very professional, personable and patient. All in all, Our experience with Siegel's Portrait Design was an enjoyable one and one that we highly recommend to anyone looking to have their wedding photographed in a professional manner." read more

Richard and his wife, Lee, make an unparalleled photography team! Without a single hesitation, I can confidently say that their talent, professionalism, and dedication preserved the memory of our wedding better than we had hoped. Richard is a kind, patient, and flexible photographer who did his utmost best to ensure that our needs and wants were met. Lee was attentive, thoughtful, and dedicated to making sure that our day was truly special. As a result of their collective abilities, we now have visual memories that will last a lifetime. More objectively, their business was easy to work with and extremely polished. Their wide range of photo packages and a la cart options ensure that even the most demanding bride and groom can certainly fulfill their photography needs. Richard and Lee are responsive via phone and email; provide a very quick turn-around on final products; and listen to the desires of their clients instead of just taking the same shots at every wedding. Words cannot express how truly thankful we are for having chosen Siegel's Portrait Design. We would give them our strongest recommendation to anyone considering a photographer for a wedding or engagement. read more

I am more than please to write a raving review for Richard and Lee Siegel! They were incredible! My wedding day was the best day of my life and I can honestly say that Richard and Lee helped to make that possible. My husband and I were a little more traditional and decided not to see each other before the ceremony. It was comforting to know how much they respected our wishes regarding those pre-ceremony pictures. Before, during, and even after the event, the level of professionalism and quality work was top-notch! Working in a team helps with the quality of work they display. My father was very excited to see how well Richard and Lee work together and how they use each other's different perspectives to capture incredible images. The photos were very important to my husband and I, and we were elated to see the pictures after we returned from our honeymoon. They were more incredible than I could have imagined! Richard and Lee create beautiful art pieces from behind the camera lens. I am proud to recommend Siegel's Portrait Design to anyone in need of excellent photographers. Definitely give them an A+ :) read more

Siegels Portrait Design was amazing for our wedding! We received Siegels as a wedding present from great friends. To be honest we were quite skeptical at the beginning. Only because we had know idea what this company was about. Our first meeting with Rick went over very well. He was very uplifting and had so much info on his profession and the love for his company. Not only was our first meeting great, Rick showed us an amazing musical dvd of previous weddings they had photographed. Rick and his wife Lee are an amazing team, through all the wedding madness of getting ready, ceremony & reception. We thought that we would be unable to see everything that went on though the night, however when we went through all the pictures we found they captured it all for us!! We feel so blessed to have everything that went on through the night on disk. We would and will recommend them to anyone we know that is getting married in the future. Thank you Rick and Lee for everything you two did for us. Sincerely the Kregness family read more

My husband and I could not have been happier with the way our engagement AND wedding pictures came out. Rick came out to our little town to do the engagement pics and made it so much fun. He was up to anything - hiking the levy, climbing a tree, setting up all his equipment alongside railroad tracks and in parking lots. He was so enthusiastic the whole time - it really put us at ease. We had both him and Lee on our wedding day and they were a wonderful team. Once again, we felt so much at ease with them - they are both so nice and obviously love what they do - it really makes for a great experience. They are excellent at giving specific instructions as to how to stand, turn, etc. - it all seemed funny at first but when you look at the final results in the pictures - the lighting and angles are amazing. Our pictures were available on line when they said they would be and the CD I ordered came within a day of my ordering it! I cannot recommend them highly enough. As my husband and I agreed on Saturday night, we definitely made the best choice when it came to our photographers. read more

If you're looking for engagement photos, senior portraits, family photos, wedding photos etc., definitely go with Rick and Lee Siegel. I cannot stop saying how pleased and happy I am with their work. They have great quality and imagination. I loved how in my wedding photos how they used birds eye and depth of field. I used them for my engagement photos and my wedding. Not only did they produce amazing work they made my wedding guests laugh and feel comfortable. Lee kept offering me water and wanted to get me inside my reception area so I could sit and feel comfortable. I feel like she went out of her way when a photographer doesn't really need to worry about that kind of stuff. Not only do they deliver quality but they get to know you on a personal level. My parents just loved them. I could relate to them as well. I loved that they wanted to get to know me and my fiance. They let me bring any props I wanted to the pictures to put my spin on things as well. I will definitely book with them again, especially when I start to grow my new family. read more

Fantastic service! Organized, timely, professional, friendly, incredibly talented...everything you could hope for on your special day! Rick and Lee make a great addition to your team of vendors and probably would make great friends. They are such nice people it is evident that they genuinely care about the outcome of your photos and want you to be satisfied with every click of the shutter. I loved the option of having a registry with them...very unique and clever. Basically, they will send you little registry cards to tuck in the your inviation with all your other registry cards from Macy;s and Target, etc. letting your guests know they may kind of "put money on the books" for you if you will. This comes in handy when it comes to making upgrades to your wedding album, having prints/canvases created, etc. I plan on using their services to capture our life in photos for big events (pregnancy, etc.) for as long as they are in service. They are a class act and it was a pleasure working with them and having them be a part of our wedding day! read more

Rick and Lee are a great team! From the very first time we met (which was actually at their house) we felt totally comfortable with them. I even sent him all my Pinterest pics I've collected over the year so we could re-create some and they were so for it. The turn around time to view our pics online was 2 weeks!! Amazing!!! Everyone was shocked at how quick they were able to view them. Lee was so compassionate and warm and made all us girls feel at ease with her. They both worked great alongside our videographers, families, and friends. The pictures they captured were spot on. I didn't even know they were snapping away when they did because they just blended in with the crowd. If your getting married at Newcastle then you know there is a strict timeline, but Rick and Lee made it work and their sense of urgency to get your most important shots captured was of their higest priority. If your looking for a great team and a quick turn around then Rick and Lee are for you!!! read more

Rick and Lee are absolutely amazing!! My husband and I love all of the photos, that it's so hard to pick an absolute favorite. They did an awesome job with both our engagement and wedding photos. Both Rick and Lee knew exactly what they were doing in capturing all of the emotions during our wedding. They are extremely professional and willing to work with whatever ideas you may have. Lee was able to calm me down when my bridesmaids and I arrived late. I was in full on panic mode but she calmed me down and assured me that everything would be OK. One of our wedding guests commented to me that they were really impressed with the professionalism both Rick and Lee exhibited during the ceremony and reception. I highly recommend Rick and Lee for all of your photography needs, from family portraits to weddings. You won't be disappointed! Thank you Rick and Lee for such an amazing experience!! read more

Rick and Lee are a husband and wife team. They are absolutely sweet people and excellent photographers. All of our booking and coordinating was handled by Rick and then Lee was the second shooter at our wedding. One of the things that I appreciated most about them is there willingness to accommodate with our requests on our wedding day. Another thing I appreciated was that they sought to get to know us a little prior to taking any photographs. The only thing I wish I had done is make a list of "must have" photographs for the wedding and email it to Rick so that we would have gotten all that we wanted out of our wedding pictures. It's too hard to remember things in the midst of your own wedding day--I didn't even realize until a day later that we didn't take a closeup shot of our wedding rings! To remedy this, they offered to shoot our rings the next time we are in town. read more

Rick and Lee came very highly recommended to us and from the moment that my husband and I met with them, they made us feel so comfortable and after seeing samples of their work we felt extremely confident in our decision to hire them to do the photography for our wedding. My husband and I waited over 10 years to finally tie the knot and the one vendor we were really counting on was our photographers and Rick and Lee surpassed every expectation that we had. The photos are absolutely amazing and I could not have envisioned more beautiful photographs!! Rick and Lee made it easy for us to feel comfortable in front of the camera and as a result captured stunning photos that my husband and I will cherish forever! I would absolutely and without hesitation recommend Rick and Lee again and again and will definitely be using them in the future for our family photos! read more

Choosing the photographer for our wedding day was a big decision, it's the images you will look at over and over again to remember your special day. So obviously I was going to be very picky! I can say that choosing Richard and Lee to get the job done was the best decision we could have gone with! They were so wonderful to work with, so comfortable, welcoming and really pays attention what you want. Also, having a two person team was really cool, you get twice the photos, twice the angles and they don't miss a thing! Once we got the pictures from our big day, we were so impressed and they captured every moment that we will be able to look back on for the rest of our lives. It was our perfect day and Richard and Lee really caught all of that in photos. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed! read more

Richard and Lee are so awesome at what they do, and they are both wonderful people as well. We cut short our photographer selection process once we had our first meeting with them. We felt so at ease with them and we could definitely see the quality of their work. The best decision we made, as they provided awesome engagement photos as well as the best wedding images I've ever seen. We are still designing our wedding album and its going to be hard with so many good images to choose from. Communication and organization is excellent all along the way with Siegel's. You won't be left guessing at any step of the process. Thank you so much and we look forward to future business with Siegel's Portrait Design. read more

Rick and Lee do such an amazing job with their photos. The creativity, quantity, and quality of their photos is without compare. Talking to various other friends of mine who are married/getting married, and seeing their photos, we got more, and better quality for our money than anyone else I've found. Rick and Lee did our engagement photo session and our wedding photos, and my husband and I could not be happier. They were both incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Rick also did an amazing job with one of our dogs that we brought to our engagement session! He went above and beyond what we expected, and just made everything so much more fun and entertaining. read more

They truly captured the essence of our relationship on film, and we couldn't be happier with them. We definitely recommend using them for your special day! We can't wait until we can use them again for pregnancy and baby photoshoots later on. read more

I had Rick take my daughters Senior pictures. What a great experience. Rick was very flexible and patient with us as we wanted the pictures outside and the weather at times was not cooperating. Ricks creativity really made for excellent photos. There were so many great choices of poses, I had the hardest time deciding which ones to order. I can't say enough nice things about Rick. He made the day very enjoyable and fun! One of my friends has already booked a session with Rick after seeing our photos. We will be using Rick again for family photos and since we have 2 daughters, most likely Wedding photos as well. Thank you Rick!! read more
