When Kristine says she's not just taking photographs but capturing life's memories, she absolutely means it. Where to begin? For starters, Kristine came recommended by my sister who has never actually had professional photos taken. So, I was a bit skeptical (sorry, Kristine, if you're reading this!). BUT.... I AM REALLY GLAD I LISTENED TO MY SIS. We had a great experience! Even though my toddler was in an especially crappy mood, and it put me in a "this is going to be bad" mindset, we still had fantastic results. Yay for Kristine and her mini-session! Kristine's directions were on-point and she was right on schedule. Upon pulling up to the location (Santa Teresa Park) we were pleasantly surprised by the scenery - gorgeous trees and beautiful lighting!! The hubby and I aren't photo people, we do it for our daughter, but Kristine's lighthearted personality put us right at ease. Everything seemed so natural and with zero pressure; meanwhile keeping things professional. When my toddler started acting up (within 2 minutes!), Kristine told us not to worry and to let our girl dictate the flow of the photo shoot. We attempted certain poses and moving spots, and when my kid wasn't having it, Kristine kept her cool and just took candid pictures. It was awesome! Despite having a newborn at home, and a packed schedule with many mini-sessions (we saw her schedule online when booking), Kristine turned our photos around pretty quickly. I could not have been more surprised at how many good pictures we had. What I loved best were the amazing action shots Kristine got of us trying to cheer up our toddler - it was so fun!
