About a year later, I met with of Dr Bauer. I met with him a few times before the surgery and for follow up. Surgery went well. Recovery went well. I did have some difficulties. He continued to work with me until everything was good. The receptionist at the front desk knew me, his nurse knew me and he knew me. And THAT is the difference between a small practice and the medical factories. Things have been so good, I haven't had a reason to see him anymore. I recently required knee surgery. Ended up back at one of the big orthopedic practices. It reminded me of why I ended up with Dr. Bauer in the first place. I have started to look at small medical practices like small businesses. We need to shop there to keep them in business.

He listens and spends the time diagnosing and treating your foot issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Bauer to any of my family or friends that require podiatry care. I had been having shoulder pain for several months. Shoulders are one of his specialties I was taken exactly on time for my appointment - which in itself I found to be amazing. Dr. Zimmerman was polite and did a thorough exam and diagnosed the cause. He recommended a steroid shot and I agreed. Three weeks late my shoulder pain is gone. His skill was obvious and he was great at actually listening. I highly recommend Dr. Zimmerman to anyone having shoulder issues. Each time a procedure was done, I have never felt any pain during the process and have always healed quickly without issues.
