Barbers use shears to cut off thick hair, not scissors, she was doing little cuts all around and not addressing the thickness. I told them the last place did not thin it out enough. That was my main issue and it was ignored. After a few minutes I seen another girl using shears to cut a guy's thick hair. I then said something about the girl not using the shears to cut my THICK hair, instead of being sprayed with water and the she cuts a snippet, not cutting my hair. I told her I don't like my head being soaked, the shears is what you need. She then got the shears and aggressively started shearing my head and messing it up. I had a extremely bad cowlick sticking up on my head. I got extremely upset and left. NO REASON FOR HER TO INTENTIONALLY MESS MY HAIR UP. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.I'm 67 years old and have had plenty of haircuts, I have only run into this way of cutting a couple times and never went back to those. I take a shower and clean my hair before going to barber and to walk in and get your head soaked after it just got finished drying was upsetting. She told me on the phone that she doesn't offer microblading, she only does powder brows. But that wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website or on the booking app. Or I wouldn't have booked it. So, instead of get a tattoo on my face that I'm unsure about, I decided to cancel. She then informed me that she would be keeping the deposit of $100. Now, look. I get that people have to make money. But, if your website is unclear and someone makes an appointment with a reasonable assumption about what services they'll be receiving based on the information provided there, then it feels a bit sketchy to keep the deposit. These ladies could be wonderful, but I'll never use any of their services now. It's just really bad customer service. Enjoy the $100 that I set aside to pamper myself after 15 months of breastfeeding as a new mom, Amy, because even if I do end up deciding to go with powder brows, I'm taking the rest of my money to my friend's artist in Pensacola. I was expecting a semi fade from short (back) to long (front). I even told Jamie I'm letting her as a styltest to undo my rat nest of hair. Even the sides being shaved we talked about doing a 1 to a fade to a 2 but she obv didn't feel comfortable doing that....a basic fade so we went with an over all 1 I ended up with a legit reverse mullet (picture shown). I showed my coworkers and even tho I laughed it off they even were mad for me. As a stylist you thought a reverse nullet was ok?!? Idk if it was bad communication or she was scared to work on my hair or what.... $52 (with a tip) for shaved sides and a trim....a basic men's hair cut..... I knew I should have gone to a barber who could have done the SAME JOB but better as well for cheaper.
