I was going to sit here & ramble about how amazing Adam & Hector are, but I would rather put my toast to him from the wedding instead: We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Adam, our amazing wedding coordinator and the owner of Sidecar Kitchen. Adam, you have been an absolute rock throughout the planning process. You listened to all of my crazy ideas and helped bring them to life. Your patience and dedication never wavered, even when I changed my mind multiple times, just to change it again once more. From the delicious food to ensuring this day was everything I dreamed of, thank you for making our wedding special. The food, the setting--everything is beyond our wildest dreams, and we owe so much of that to you. We cannot wait to eat Sidecar Kitchen food again!!! Adam will be my coordinator for any event I ever put on! read more

Adam and Hector are perfect partners. Adam was so hospitable and Hector's culinary skills are incredible. We hire Sidecar Kitchen for my husband's 50th birthday and his staff were phenomenal. Super friendly and attentive. Chloe and Julian (bartenders) were perfect. All of our guests took notice of how helpful they were and how delicious the food was. They requested Sidecar Kitchen's info for their own events. The displays were beautiful and one of the best parts was that at the end of the evening, the team boxed everything up - including our decorations!!! I will definitely use them again read more

I cannot give Adam or sidecar enough accolades for the amazing job. They did at my daughter's wedding. The food was restaurant quality. There was something for everyone to eat. The service was impeccable. All guests were taken care of as if they were royalty. Adam is outstanding at coordination and management. The wedding went off without a hitch. The cost compared to all other caters was more than reasonable. This service they provided was worth every penny and then some. I would use them for anything and everything that I will ever need to cater in the future. If it sounds like I am gushing, I am. I have received compliments from every person who attended the wedding. I've been told numerous times that this is the most beautiful wedding they've ever attended, and that the food was outstanding. read more

Sidecar Kitchen is not your average catering company- they are way more and are way better! I truly cannot recommend them enough and could not have had or imagine my wedding without them- and would do it 100x over. Adam is the most accommodating and helpful person and truly made miracles happen for my wedding. We planned our destination wedding in Florida (we are from NY) with Adam and he took care of everything for me- the food of course, but also all of the planning for the day, the decor, our flowers, and working with our difficult venue location. I could not have done it without him and he made me feel at ease the whole way through, every time I reached out with a thought or question of how we would do something, it was met with a "no worries, easy breezy" from Adam. Chef Hector's food is also THE BEST. It was immediately confirmed by my hard-to-please-foodie husband when the moment we tried their food, he said we need to book them. Everyone at our wedding also raved about the food. If I could give 10 stars I would and would use Sidecar kitchen over and over. read more

Sidecar kitchen - Delicious cake even after a year! - Food Trucks Near Me - margate, Florida

We had our wedding at park with historical buildings and NO KITCHEN (ok, refrigeration but no flames or heating elements allowed). We loved the park and it was available but I had a culinary vision of tapas versions of some of our favorite foods. (I'm extra...I know.) The cake was from 'We take the cake', also wonderful. I told their wedding cake specialist about our situation and she immediately recommended Adam Irvin and Sidecar Kitchen. Other caterers looked at my ideas and tried to push their standard dishes, especially without a Kitchen... Adam took it all in stride and help us create a multi-course tapas menu that was truly unforgettable for us and our guests. They handled everything, set up and break down. It was like a dream. When I got to the venue the day of the wedding, it was so beautiful that I told Adam he was a miracle worker. At the end of the night we had Chef Hector come into the celebration so that all the guests could applaud his creations. The dishes represented a mix of our cultural traditions and favorites from our travels. Passed canapes Cashew Chicken Endive; Eggplant Escabeche Tartlets;Chimichurri Argentinian pink shrimp on tostones; Conch Skewers with mango salsa; Pork Tostones with garlic aioli, quesco fresco Fennel and orange segment salad Tapas/Family Style 1st Course Thai Calamari, pineapple, sweet chili glaze, sesame seeds and Duck Confit and corn empanada with an avocado cream 2nd Course Spaghettios (Anellini) irish butter, fresh black truffle, fresh black pepper and Parmigiano Reggiano 3rd Course Braised Lamb shank, duck fat braised red cabbage Sliced fingerling papa fritas and onions with a chive sour cream drizzle Roasted Brussels sprouts, pancetta, shallots, balsamic glaze read more

Was on the hunt for a food truck to cater for our wedding and came across Sidecar Kitchen. Never actually trying them out before, I asked to have a tasting and Sidecar was more than happy to let us try a few things. We picked about 5 things off of the menu that we were thinking about serving at the wedding and Adam brought out a couple of extra dishes to try. You had to roll us out by the time the tasting was over. After the meeting was over, there was no way that we could've gone with anybody else. ... Here is the menu we ended up with for the wedding: -Mango Scotch Bonnet glazed conch fritters served with tostones -Sriracha lime wings -Philly cheesesteak empanadas -Lomo Saltada (beef, carrots, peppers, onions) -Southern vegetable fried rice A must try! Huge catering menu. ...from American, to Asian, and Latin. .. with an option to mix and match dishes. Big portions and flavorful dishes. Chef Hector does a great job with the dishes and Adam was such a pleasure to work with. Professional, very responsive, super friendly and great communication... made everything so easy. I was very happy with the easy communication and the food was a total hit. I highly recommend hiring these guys for your next event! read more

They have a Cuban Sandwich with tostones in place of bread! Need I say more? If I wanted to go on, I could say that they had a creative menu with plenty of interesting options, that there was quick, friendly service, that it was reasonably priced, and that the pork on my Cuban Sandwich (often the weak point of other Cuban Sandwiches around) was perfectly juicy and mojo-y. But, really, if you're like me, all you need to know is that they make a Cuban Sandwich with tostones in place of bread. Awesome. read more

If you are currently shopping caterers: look no further, Sidecar Kitchen is definitely the best choice for whatever event you're planning. Adam and his team did our wedding and it could not have been more perfect in any way. Everyone raved about how awesome the food was all night (cheers to Chef Hector!). His entire team - the servers, bartenders, everyone - is so amazing. Adam also did our flowers and decor, made our cake which was both beautiful and delicious, and helped me plan from 2,000 miles away and just absolutely killed it. His attention to detail cannot be matched. Adam was able to take my dream wedding and turn it into a beautiful reality. Basically, do yourself a favor and get you an Adam. Thank you all so much for truly the best night ever! read more

Sidecar Kitchen's food was the talk of my wedding! Adam and his staff are top-notch, they exceeded any and all expectations on my wedding day! From the first taste testing, Adam treated my husband and me like family and went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. First let me say, the food is INCREDIBLE! My wedding was 5 days ago and I STILL have guests coming up to me/contacting me RAVING about how good the food was and how they want the recipe to the vegan empanadas served during cocktail hour! Adam and his staff are very accommodating to our dietary needs. My husband and I are vegan and Adam curated a beautiful vegan menu (with one chicken dish for the pickier guests) that made my non-vegan friends/family fall in love! Even the picky ones didn't even notice that most of the food was meat/dairy-free! I think it is important to note that the delivery of the food was extremely clean, especially during the pandemic. Adam and his staff went out of their way to make us all feel safe during such an uncertain time. Second, Adam and his staff are exceptionally professional and helpful. Adam took the time to invest in my husband and me, giving us advice on all aspects of wedding planning and what he has seen work/not work in the past. His experience and expertise were indispensable throughout the wedding planning process! I cannot recommend Sidecar Kitchen enough for ANY and ALL of your catering needs. We will definitely be customers for life whenever we need catering! You will not regret choosing Adam and his Sidecar team. If you like fresh, award-winning food: you have come to the right place! read more

I recently attended an event down in Florida where Sidecar Kitchen was the caterer. I've planned tons of events in NYC (where I live) over the years and was super impressed by the quality of Sidecar's food, and the service. They clearly care about the presentation in addition to the flavor of the food, and I always appreciate a good eye for detail! read more

If you want to have a seamless, glitch-less wedding you need to hire Sidecar. Working with Adam was the least stressful part of the whole process, not only did Chef Hector make the most amazing food - Adam helped plan the wedding and was the day of coordinator and helped fill in the shoes of a wedding planner as well. Always smiling and making us feel at home! He went the extra mile for everything, making sure we got the best deals, handling some stressful moments, and even planning out the flowers and last minute decor issues. Honestly, you don't need a wedding planner if you hire Sidecar, it's a one-stop-shop. The team on the day of the wedding were there when you needed them, taking care of everything and I've never seen a team work so efficiently from start to finish. We had the most magical night. Adam and his team will now be our family's caterer and event planner! Thank you for a perfect wedding. read more

Had the pleasure of trying Sidecar Kitchens fare on Halloween at Funky Buddha's BOOdah Halloween party. They had limited menu items that night; not sure if they just sold out of stuff or just kept it simple for the large crowd that evening. Everything on their menu sounded awesome. As we were waiting to order another patron received their order of fried calamari that looked amazing but I was really hungry so I chose the Sidecar Cuban. Holy wow guys! The tostones instead of the bread is an absolute GENIUS idea! It was so crispy and went so well with the whole idea of a Cuban sandwich. Literally the best of both worlds. The pulled pork inside was also delicious and really flavorful. I thought it would be way more messy to eat but everything that fell out of the sandwich landed on their delicious garlic Parmesan fries that was served with it. I'm a total fan of food trucks in general and think it's great what these guys can pull off on a limited kitchen. I would definitely recommend a try if you see them out at any events. Hoping the next time I come across them they'll have something new and interesting. read more

You have FOUND your caterer! Oh my, there are TOO many wonderful things to say about Sidecar Kitchen. Adam was so kind and quick to respond to our wedding coordinator and myself throughout the whole process whether we were asking him about quotes/details, getting advice, or setting up our tasting. Adam was by far the most professional vendor to work with throughout this whole process and it was a weight off our shoulders to know we need not worry about the food and keeping our guests happy. Now for the food... between the mini beef wellington, crab cakes, conch fritters, and steamed veggies... I said to my husband at least 5 times during our tasting, "This is the best food I've ever eaten". But seriously... The mini beef wellington... Get them. And THE PRETZEL BAR! We asked about a pretzel bar and Adam made it happen right before our eyes! The food was amazing, but truly the cherry on top was getting to work with and trust two of the most humble, talented, and kind people. We love you Sidecar Kitchen, and wish we could get married again just to taste your food again!!! Ps. Check out their instagram :) It was helpful for us! read more
