I made just a few small tweaks based on his recommendations, and we are already seeing an improvement in the number of contact forms coming through our website! What I appreciated the most was working with artists who understand art as well as film making and production. My project was unique--a dramatization of Scripture set in ancient time. It was important to me to collaborate with something who could understand the artifact I wanted to achieve without sacrificing technical excellence. My only frown is that Dancing Fox Pictures isn't located in my home town. I was luck enough to catch them while their President was working out of town on another project. I personally met Justin in dark clubs and bars of Saint Louis of 2002-03, while he was fronting his band Glitch Factor. As a sound engineer, Justin is that member of your band that you never knew you had. His empathic approach to his art of sound production and design is nothing short of magic and science. Your band has a sound that you think you have heard until Justin plays you his mixes of you. And then your band's sound is something you will never forget. He also has the ability to draw out of you sounds that you never knew you could make. As a performer, this ability Justin has, helps you to evolve your art. Justin collaborates, never dictates. He will experiment with you even if you blow up your beakers and flasks in the process. And he will get your obscure Alan Parsons jokes and tolerate your incessant speak about Black Sabbath. And you can trust him to have your sonic back. I will use SmithLee Productions in the future because of Justin. You should too.
