I needed a cover‑up done and it took me 20 years to find the right tattoo artist. I finally found Husky, the owner of Sick Made Tattoos in downtown Killeen, and I can honestly say it was worth the wait. He is absolutely phenomenal. His talent speaks for itself. Whether it's portraits or custom work, whatever image you bring him, he executes it beautifully. The quality of his work is exceptional, and you can tell he genuinely cares about getting it right. What I appreciate just as much as his skill is his patience and calm demeanor. I tend to change my mind and work through ideas as I go, and he never makes you feel rushed or pressured. He's steady, professional, and incredibly reassuring throughout the entire process. His new location in downtown Killeen is also fantastic. The space is bright, welcoming, and very comfortable. From the moment you walk in, it feels inviting and puts you at ease, which makes a huge difference. If you're looking for an artist who is talented, thoughtful, and truly committed to his craft, I can't recommend Husky and Sick Made Tattoos enough. I'm beyond happy with my tattoo and grateful to have finally found an artist I trust! read more

Best artist in Central Texas. Very detailed work. Great conversations and a passion for perfection.

Great tatto, very professional and personable. Would recommend to anyone my wife is going to get one this week too.

My husband chose Sickmade Tattoos for our son's first tattoo for his 20th birthday gift. My son wanted an Aztec style tattoo because of his family heritage, but wanted to have some meaning behind it, as it would relate to him. Husky took the time to discuss ideas with our son and also gave him a book with Native Mexican Art for our son to do research. My son sent ideas & photos back to Husky. Husky designed a tattoo to my sons's desires. Husky's work was very intricate and beautiful! My son, his father and I are very pleased with the way his tattoo came out! Sickmade Tattoos is a very warm and welcoming business! Everyone that works there is friendly and professional, yet personable at the same time! This tattoo shop is very clean and they practice high sanitary standards! If you are looking for a phenomenal tattoo, this is the place to go! read more

Owner, Husky, was paid in full for a piece he didn't complete. When I asked when he could finish, he tried to get me to pay more to book. You can see in the screenshots he told me the design would take minutes but then tried to say I was lucky he never charged me for the entire day it took him to do a design. You see he was paid. And then you see he admitted TODAY that he didn't finish the piece. Then he tried to lie and act like the person that referred me to him (cause he is the business and I'm the consumer smh I can't be referred to him, that makes no sense) saw my comments and was talking down on me. But that's not even possible lol and the person saw my post last year and even messaged me about it. And it's only NOW being brought up to the owner lol. So just lies upon lies to protect himself and talk down on me. He has videos...post them. Cause I have no reason to lie ‍ read more

Great shop to get your inking needs satisfied. I've known my girl "Coca" for 20+ years. She's always been a great artist so when she started slinging I knew I could trust her work and I was not disappointed. Takes her time in getting the piece just right. Can't wait to get plenty more work done! The shop itself is nice and cozy and very clean. They take great pride in the quality and sterility of all their equipment which is a huge plus. Everyone there makes you feel welcome and part of the group. I only knew my girl the first time going but the shop owner, Sergio, along with his wife and other artists made me feel totally welcomed and at ease. He even stepped out to buy us all refreshments during my session. Overall, great little gem for your tattoo needs! read more

I went to this shop to get tattooed by a guest artist and got very beautiful script work done and I'm very pleased with the outcome. As for the shop it's like most tattoo shops as far as how it looks but the customer service was great, the owner who was also tattooing (very clean/ good work) was very nice and professional. Very friendly welcoming environment and most importantly a clean shop. Oh and did I mention I received beautiful script work!!! read more

We came here specifically to see the Vanessa Guillen mural and to honor her memory. It's a beautiful tribute to a life taken needlessly and too soon. The drizzling rain and foggy day added to the somber experience. It's wonderful to see how many candles, flowers, and even army boots have been left for her. read more

I loved this place! I got my conch pierced here and they were so professional and neat. HIGHLY recommend. I also had a friend get a tattoo and watched them do it - I was so impressed by their cleanliness and ability to make a vision into something. I had a great experience at sick made tattoo parlor. It's a bit of a drive for me, but it was well worth it. All of the artists are very friendly, knowledgeable and hygienic when it comes to tattooing. Their equipment was clean, their tattoo machines were quiet and the environment was very friendly and inviting. I like how they were able to book me in on the day that I wanted at almost the last minute too. Thanks Victor and everyone else! I'll definitely be back soon! I love my new ink! read more

Man this place was Amazing hands down. All the artist in the shop were professional but when you walk in you feel like your at home. All the guys are great artists. We had a last minute tattoo session and the guys all divided and conquered and got the jobs done with ease. They actually saved our Thanksgiving because my Father passed away the week before and we wanted to make sure we got these tattoos done bedsore Thanksgiving Day. If you don't like this shop there's something wrong with you. I should've asked all of their names but Felix the Cat tatted my sis, this other Hispanic guy with blue eyes tatted my youngest sister and Chesto tatted me and my other sis! We will definitely be back and I'm gonna run my mouth and tell all my friends about them. O and for you crazy Yelpers YES parking is simple and easy they have a nice sized lot PLUS there's tons of restaurants/ food spots on the same street for your convenience. ATM is in the shop as well! Now go get Tatted and stop reading my Review! read more

Spoke to a melIssa stated I wanted to make a tattoo appointment and was told I could come in at 7:30 so we showed up at 7:15 the Female tattoo artist was still doing a tattoo so we waited Until 8:00 she stated she was going to do a walk in ahead of us because we didn't put a deposit so we were considered a walk in as well. I was NEVER told to put a deposit down and I was told that we for sure had an appointment reserved. I would have NEVER drove 30 minutes to this place if we didn't get an apt The female tattoo artist had an attitude and said she didn't care if we left. So would not recommend this place at all. read more

Got a sh*tty piercing done by Tattoo U in copperas cove, so i came here to have it taken out, and another piercing on the other side. Great place! We were in and out in 20 minutes and I'll definitely be coming back for my next tattoo! Thank you guys!! read more

I have been coming to this shop ever since my tattoo artist has moved to this location, and it's the best shop he's been at in my opinion. Victor has been my tattoo artist for about 3 years and has done all my tattoos and I love each and every one of them. He's very patient and cares about your wellbeing while you are getting tattooed. His work is clean and very detailed . I get stopped all the time by people asking me who my tattoo artist is. I would highly recommend you check him and his work out , guaranteed you won't be disappointed! read more

Clean shop, great experience, excellent, friendly and most importantly TALENTED artists!

I came to Janet to have her make a custom dream catcher for my body, and she did an amazing job!! She did great work with making it colorful and realistic while fitting it to the shape of my body. She went above and beyond in making sure all of the details were on point. It took over 10 hours between two sessions, and she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She put so much detail and thought into the design and creation of my tattoo. She was also great about checking up on me between/after sessions to make sure the healing was going well. The rest of the staff was very warm and welcoming, I felt very comfortable being in their shop. I'm so happy I chose her as my artist, I highly recommend her for her amazing work and her caring personality! read more

Had an idea of what I wanted and gave the artist the design idea. He did not take me, he passed me to an artist who would have done the job. Based on the basic design I wanted and the free regime to use his creative skills.... let's just saw WOW and I get asked about my tattoo! Best tattoo I have and will be going back. read more

I've been coming to Courtney Moore for about a year now - she's done all three of my tattoos (two scripts and one large full color side piece) and I LOVE all of them! The color piece was a galaxy scene, I spent so long trying to find an artist that could actually make that effect with a tattoo gun but it's perfect, like a watercolor space dream! All three healed quickly and with no problems at all, the color piece was the only one I had real pain during the tattooing with, but to be fair it's a side rib piece and I only tapped out after 4 hours. And the colors are still just as vivid and beautiful almost a year later! Overall amazing artist, great shop, great vibe, everyone is always really cool whenever I'm there. Perhaps most importantly for me as a woman, although my artist is Courtney (also a woman) I've been there when the male artists were around and they've never made me feel like anything less than a valued customer, even when I was pacing around the shop in my bra taking a break. I will be returning to Courtney for all of my ink needs in the future, and I tell everyone else to do the same as well! read more

I've been coming here for about 4 years. Since the first time walking in I felt very welcomed to the shop. Everyone here is very friendly and always there to help. The shop is really clean and always has good music or a good movie playing. You feel like your chillin just at home. Victor does all my tattoos and This dude gets down. He isn't afraid to tackle anything and his style is very unique. Always makes sure your comfortable when getting tattooed. All the other artists are nice too. Always crackin jokes making it a fun environment to be near. They also have a nice tea shop downstairs so food is never too far away. Lol The shop is hidden but it's like one of garden groves best kept secrets that you want to tell all your friends about. You won't regret coming here, they're always willing to work with you, I've recommended many people and all them keep coming back for more work to be done, even when they only wanted one tattoo. Don't sleep on this place. read more

I came to Sick Made Tattoo parlor to get a cover up done on a tattoo on my foot. Husky and the rest of the crew were so friendly and professional. I had that tattoo that I was unhappy with for 8 years, and I was worried about how bad the pain was going to be. Husky not only created an amazing tattoo, but completely covered the old one up! It doesn't look like a cover up at all. And, he did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable the whole time, and he was able to finish the piece in one sitting. Highly recommend coming here! The artists are sick and the service is awesome. read more
