Back in the Wirral, and it's Thai time. And what do you want from your average Thai restaurant? Well, for me, it's all about the freshness, the efficiency and politeness of the service and some fabulously ornate decor. Tick, tick, tick. Siam Thai really does have the whole package and while it's a dinky little place, they've kitted it out exceptionally well.
The staff are ever so accommodating and lovely and will happily take any special requests, and their authentic Thai outfits really are something else. Where the food is concerned, well, you all know me by now, I'm absolutely ridiculous when it comes to indecisiveness and Thai menus tend to give me the shivers but can you really complain about so many lush choices being on the menu? And boy, does it taste fresh. Coconut, chilli, lime, every flavour stands out on its own as well as complementing the others.
As for the scenery, they've done a beautiful job. The ambience is sparkly and tranquil and it's cosy and intimate enough for a romantic outing. Plus you can sit and have drinks following your meal in the bar area they've designated for the purpose. All in all, an impressive Wirral offering! read more
