I watched a YouTube video on how to remove the PCM from my 2003 Lincoln LS. During the video the guy mentioned that he would send the PCM to Sia Electronics for repair. I saw the reviews on Yelp but decided to send it in anyway. They called within two days of receiving my PCM and told me they could not repair it. They gave me acceptable customer service so I was pleased with their service. I think they are worth a try.

My performance chip with tune they lost

They lost my performance chip that I sent in with ECU. They would not give me a number or email to send them a picture of what the chip looks like so they can at least look for it. I mean they are horrible at call backs and I don't really think they care to be honest. Now that I ordered a new ecu I don't have the chip for it to run correctly! I lost the chip money and tune money. That suck STAY AWAY I don't care if they see this the damage is done I literally couldn't sleep because I knew you incompetent idiots would lose it or Logan stole it. Just complete bs and I would give you zero stars if I could.

I recognized the symptoms (gauges not working) and sent the ECU back to SIA for their analysis.

Ecu Repair Now

(6 reviews)

This is for the business ECURepairNow.com, one-man business by Joshua. Claims to have been in…read morebusiness over 20 years originally in Denver, then a few years in Glendale (Phoenix), AZ and now back to Denver. My experience was Jekyll and Hyde. The ECU in my 2005 Sienna failed without warning. Had a local shop replace with and reprogram a salvage yard unit. Because of vehicle age and this 'stop dead' failure, I wanted to have a spare ECU on hand. Found one from a reputable salvage yard. Based on website and phone call with Josh, it appeared he would do a good job to confirm the 'spare' and program it with same day turnaround. Planned to stop by his Glendale location the next time I would visit a relative 'across town' in Phoenix -- and plug in the reprogrammed unit to test it. Just as I was about to do that and called Josh, he told me he was a day away from moving back to Denver. Mailed him my old failed unit and the spare which he appreciated for ease to transfer the information. Confirmed with phone call the work was completed satisfactorily. Agreed for him to keep and recycle the failed unit. When I installed the reprogrammed unit, it did not work (engine would not start). Tried to call Josh, but was only able to reach him by text. He asked 'what do you want me to do?' and told me I would need to find a mechanic. This despite him assuring me I would be able to just plug in the spare. Kept trying to get better answers from him including his warranty. He simply chose to block my texts and not answer my calls. Only then did I do a deeper dive on his reviews than I did originally to find that he had a pattern of 'stiffing' customers. Fortunately, I was able to file a complaint and refund request via my credit card company which was processed without Josh even replying to the credit card company inquiry. So financially whole, minus my postage and time to submit my claim (including text screens.) So now I have tracked down the fellow who did the reprogramming of the replacement ECU in the Sienna, and although his price for this 'specialty work' is high, at least I can look him in the eye. The question remains whether the ECU I bought is good or damaged. I am told that for that year Toyota the VIN might have been programmed, but the Security Immobilizer needs to be programmed in vehicle -- which Josh with his 20 years of experience should have known. In any case, I suggest you use someone else, unless you are working with him face-to-face and no money changes hands until you are satisfied.

ECU Repair Now is as disreputable as a business can get. Do not send them anything for repair…read more Check the multiple complaints against them on the Internet. I sent them my ECU on 7/16/2021 that they said could fix or would ship back to me in two days. After repeated attempts to reach them by phone leaving messages and via their contact form on their website, still no response. No call. No response!! I have filed complaints with the BBB, Coloado Attorney General and the FTC. I am going to file a claim in small claims court to get my part back plus damages so my car can be repaired properly. If you have a similar story, please share as I have. Businesses like these need to be put out of business!
