Couldn't recommend Shyla Magee enough. She was phenomenal throughout the entire process and made buying a home way easier and less stressful than I expected. She knows what she's doing, communicates extremely well, and was always on top of everything from start to finish. What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared about making sure I ended up in the right home, not just getting a deal done. She was honest, patient, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile whenever I needed something. Shyla is just flat-out very good at her job and someone you want in your corner when buying a home. I had an awesome experience working with her and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor. read more

I first engaged Shyla to purchase a short sale in 2011. BoA, however, dragged its feet for 15 months, so I abandoned that property and asked her to find an alternative. She quickly found a nice condo which I bought sight unseen. Shyla handled all the remote paperwork smoothly and efficiently, and when I finally got to visit the place I saw that she had found a winner. Such good taste! However, after 14 years, I decided to sell it. The sale had all sorts of issues, all of which Shyla handled promptly and thoroughly. She was the cool-headed, competent professional in a sea of nincompoops. If you want to be shown the best properties in LV, or get the best price for your property, Shyla is your woman. read more

My wife and I are relocating to Henderson, and Shyla came highly recommended by several of my co-workers whom she had previously helped purchase homes. She proved to be a true professional, guiding us through every step of the process--from the home search and negotiation to financing and finally receiving the keys. Her knowledge of the area and the market gave us confidence throughout the entire experience. Most importantly, Shyla demonstrated integrity at every stage of the process. read more

I cannot recommend Shyla enough! I admittedly got very lucky in my connection with her almost 10 years ago and since then, she's helped me and my family both buy and sell homes during pivotal moments of our lives. Shyla was kind and gentle when my dad passed and we needed to sell his home and she celebrated with me like I was a close friend when I recently bought my own dream home. My new home was originally listed far above my budget but Shyla insisted on making a connection with the seller's agent anyway to let them know I was interested. Fast forward a few weeks and they decided they were open to my budget! We toured it and wrote an offer immediately - a month later I was holding the keys for a property I never thought I could own. I still can't believe I got so lucky. I fully credit Shyla for taking the extra time to reach out "just in case" - it paid off for me in a huge way. She is not only a great agent but a truly kind and caring person. She's the best! read more

Let me start out by saying shila did an amazing job. She is very knowledgeable and will keep you informed throughout the whole process. As she did with myself and my daughter. Even while she was on vacation, she still managed to find time to keep us informed of any problems or procedures that came up. I highly recommend that if you're looking for a real estate agent. In the Las Vegas area, you get hold of Shila. read more

My husband and I worked with Shyla for over 2 years. We lived in Denver and wanted a retirement home in Vegas. We just closed on our home and the process was super easy. Where do I even begin? Shyla Magee is the most amazing Realtor I have ever encountered. From the first day we were referred to her she put us at ease. I was the trustee for family for the 1st time. Throughout this journey she helped and went beyond what her duties were. The entire time she kept us updated each step of the way. She met with us when we arrived in Nevada which made us feel even more at ease with her. We closed pretty easily and we miss our almost daily visits. If you are looking for a Realtor in the Henderson area, she is the only one you should connect with. She is very knowledgeable and kind with her words. She met with the renter that was in the home more than once. She kept him updated at all times, even though he could be difficult to deal with. Thank you does not say enough to her for all she did for my daughter and I. read more

Shyla was tremendously helpful to my wife and I as we did our first home sale from a thousand miles away. After trying to sell in a difficult environment in late 2022, Shyla continued to keep us apprised of the market as we rented out the house with the ultimate goal of selling. This time, she first worked with our tenants as a prospective buyer, then worked with us to sell and deal with our property manager when we could not. She also went above and beyond to find us vendors when the PM couldn't, to the point of mopping up our floors to try and get rid of a persistent smell. She was a great help during the closing process and got exactly what we wanted. We so appreciate you Shyla! read more

To know her is to love her...Shyla is the BEST!! From our initial meeting with her to go over our wants, needs, and budget, my husband and I could tell that she was not only knowledgeable, thorough, and organized but cared about us and was truly invested in making sure we obtained our dream home! Within days we were able to find "the one" and Shyla was amazing in the negotiation and closing process! She kept us updated regularly and was prompt in responding to any questions we had along the way. Shyla shared in our joy as our family moved into our new home and came back to visit us once we were fully moved in. We not only gained a home, but a friend in the process, and will always be grateful for our experience with Shyla! If you're looking for a realtor, she's definitely your girl! read more

Just saw this in my drafts from a few years ago...I apparently forgot to click "post." So a little late, but better late than never! Shyla is the absolute WORST. Selling my home from out of state has been a nightmare. I have had to hold her hand and check up on her throughout the entire process and when I haven't, or when I made the mistanke of trusting her judgement---costly mistakes have been made. She only hosted 1 open house...from 12-4...ON A WEEKDAY. Obviously, not 1 person showed up. Why not on a weekend, like every other open house, you ask? Childcare issues. I received substantially less than asking and ended up taking a loss on my home, instead of a profit. Newest blunder? She did not advise me or my tenant that utilities would need to stay on during the last 2 weeks of escrow (when my tenant moved out). Because of this, he had them shut off (understandably). Overall a horrible experience. Would not recommend. read more

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience with Shyla and her assistant. We appreciated her responsiveness and enthusiasm. We did not appreciate her lack of boundaries and poor communication. Maybe she is just new and will learn and grow in time. Shame that a MAJOR error was made with us and zero repair attempts. Proceed with caution. Ahhhh! Ugh. read more

Linda J. We contacted Shyla with our home sale that was just short of needing a miracle! Shyla is a true professional. She is a good listener, caring, trustworthy and gets positive results. Shyla is the most amazing realtor- you will not find another person with as much skill or heart in Vegas. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, but she genuinely cares about your home buying experrince and getting you the best deal possible. She negotiated on our behalf to get us an amazing deal, and she was by our side at every step of the way to help us navigate the process as my husband and I are first time home buyers and knew very little about what to expect. I cannot say enough good things about Shyla- buying our home would not have been possible without her. She truly made our home buying dream come true. read more

I was helping my best friend look for a rental and it was a "we have to rent it today" kind of situation. Even though she was totally swamped we called and she sent her assistant who helped my friend land a rental that day. She was so nice and so helpful and I was so impressed. Thanks Peyton. read more

We met Shyla after a sub-par experience with a different agent when we were just starting our home search in Las Vegas. Shyla was such a breath of fresh air for us! In short: Shyla exceeded all of our expectations in guiding us into our dream home. Shyla is the perfect combination of diligent when things need to be done and patient when we are waiting on things from third parties. Since we were moving from out of state, we feel that Shyla was the perfect local representative for us when we were hundreds of miles away and she earned our trust very early in the process. Her expertise is integral in finding the right home for you and she follows up on anything before you've even thought of it yourself. On top of all of these great professional attributes, she's a kind, thoughtful, and caring human being who we could not recommend more highly. read more

Well, it's simple. I reached out to Shyla on 11/20/2020 from out of state, today is 12/23/2020 and we have the keys to our dream home. To say that Shyla is a miracle worker is an understatement. Her patience, attention to detail, compassion, empathy, and professionalism are out of this world. I still can't believe that we found our home in such a short period of time and literally stress free since Shyla was so on top of EVERYTHING! Not to mention her amazing recommendations from our lender to the home inspector and so much more for us out of state "deer in the headlights". Shyla, your kindness and heart of gold truly touched us, you made this process incredibly easy, you showed up at every twist and turn and we couldn't have dreamed of a better realtor, you are a blessing. Thank you!! We raise our glass to you! read more

Shyla was incredible. Our father lived in Henderson by himself, with no one in our family living anywhere close to him. Shyla handled nearly aspects of selling the house after he passed, and she did this without us ever stepping foot in Henderson. This included her mailing us our father's belongings from the house, setting up indoor and outdoor repairs, speaking with neighbors for mail and utility and other issues, helping us with the sale of our father's car, giving us a referral for an excellent estate lawyer, being ready to answer our questions at all times, and so much more. There was nothing she did wrong, and everything she did right. I couldn't recommended her more highly! read more

My wife and I were out of state buyers for well over a year. We met with Shyla several times during the year looking for acceptable housing. The things we enjoyed the most about Shyla was not only her professionalism, but the facts that she truly knows the real estate game in Southern Nevada and she is an expert problem solver. Whatever issue we threw at her she always came back with a solution. Shyla returns every phone call and/or text in a timely manner, always with cheerful attitude and a positive outlook. After meeting Shyla the first time, my wife and I both knew we were in good hands. We purchased our new home October 2021. We will never work with anyone else. Thank you, Shyla. We started with Shyla over a year ago. She has sent so much great information and taught us the Las Vegas market. We found the perfect house now all because of Shyla. read more

Shyla was so great to work with! My husband and I were coming to Las Vegas from out of state and on a very short timeline. Her kindness, knowledge and professionalism are unmatched. We will absolutely work with Shyla again and highly recommend her! read more

I have not worked with this agent. But, when I contacted her, via email no response at first. Then I texted agent, no response at all. Then finally I received a email, from agent asking when can we talk on phone. We setup a appointment for a call, agent did not call. Agent emailed me, asking to reschedule. We rescheduled, no call again. Two times, NO contact. Horrible communication. read more

Shyla has become a friend to us through our rental and then also our homebuying process. She took the time to look at our needs, be honest about what we could find and in what areas, what areas we should stick with for our family, and also was extremely knowledgeable throughout the process. We relocated to Vegas from Florida and were unsure exactly which area to be in and where to even start. Shyla put us as ease and was there to answer any questions and was always prompt throughout us finding our rental. When we were wanting to find a home, she immediately made time for us to check out properties and also for us to check which areas would fit our family. We would recommend Shyla to everyone and anyone who is looking to find their home in the Las Vegas Valley area! read more

Shyla is the best! This was our second purchase with her. Her response rate is incredible and she even responded to us while she was in hospital waiting to give birth to her second child! Who does that? We had a difficult transaction for many reasons, not the least of which is that we live in another country, but if it were not for Shyla, we would have never closed. A big thank you to her. You will never go wrong with choosing Shyla, she really knows her stuff. read more

My wife and I were moving from another state to Las Vegas and found Shyla through Yelp thanks some excellent reviews especially relating to out of town movers. Everything went great, she is very responsive, set good expectations up front, punctual with meetings, and good at explaining how things could go so we could make an informed decision. When I initially reached out to a bunch of realtors her response stood out as someone who read my request and would be happy to work with us. Shyla also did a good job pressing the sellers agent on a "hot" listing for more info so we could come up with a mutually beneficial offer for both us and the sellers of our new home. And we appreciated her insight about the area. read more

My fiance and I just closed on our first house, and we are extremely satisfied working with Shyla. She really knows the Las Vegas housing market, like where you want to live and where you don't, and she was a "one-stop-shop" source for help and information at every stage in the home buying process. Shyla would meet with us to see houses on our schedule, and would help setting up appointments. If there were good or bad things about each house, she would point them out and help us evaluate if each house was worth placing an offer on. My fiance and I have very different temperaments and she somehow managed to successfully work with both of us. After a just couple meetings, she pretty much knew what we were looking for. Any paperwork that she put together for us was correct and she made sure everything was processed without issue. Our transaction was a short-sale, so there was a lot of paperwork, but Shyla followed up on our behalf and things worked out well. She communicated with us, the lender and the seller regularly and would send updates when new information was available or just to confirm that things are still being processed in a timely manner. Shyla walked us through every step and explained things to us in words we could understand, right up to the handing over of the keys to the house. She is even helping us with referrals to trusted contractors to do some work on our new home. We could not have asked for a better Realtor: Smart, Persistent, Thorough and Pleasant. I hope that anyone considering working with Shyla finds this review helpful. read more

I am writing this review on behalf of me and my wife. When we began the arduous process of purchasing our first home we had no idea where to begin. From the moment Shyla introduced herself to us in her office we knew we were in good hands. Both me and my wife consider ourselves to be good judges of character and we both felt exceptionally pleased, comfortable, and excited after our first meeting with Shyla. Shyla's demeanor was very pleasant and extremely helpful from the very beginning. During our property search phase Shyla was genuinely committed to making sure we found the home that was perfect for our family. She was more than happy to give of her time making certain that we saw each property while making valuable suggestions along the way based on our expectations. Her input was invaluable as this was a new experience for us. Once we settled on a property that we liked and the buying process began, Shyla walked us through everything step by step. She communicated directly with our lender and the builders on our behalf throughout the entire process, never allowing us to stress out and always explaining everything to us in detail along the way. Our builder and the sales team were fantastic and really thought very highly of Shyla. They were happy doing business with her on our behalf and that was a major plus! However; In the final phase of closing and signing for our home we unfortunately encountered an individual who wasn't very courteous or respectful of us and Shyla wouldn't have any of it. She had our back 100% and set the individual straight. We knew that Shyla was awesome but this was the icing on the cake. I must say that during one of the most exciting and stressful times in our lives having Shyla as not only our agent but as our FRIEND helped us get through it all and into our brand new home. The home that we dreamed about for so long. Shyla is amazingly passionate about seeing people's dreams realized and she has become a great friend to our family as well. If you are looking for a home for you and your family, do yourself a huge favor and allow Shyla to help you see it through. She TRULY cares and it shows! read more
