The first negative I would mention when thinking of Safestore is that the road it is on can get…read morevery busy with lorries and cars parked and not much room to move down it. The condition of the road is not brilliant either, with quite a few potholes. However, please don't hold this against Safestore. Once arriving at Safestore there is a very small customer car park, only big enough for a handful of cars. The store is very clean and tidy with storage/packaging type products clearly displayed & labelled. So very easy to find items you may need. Staff are very friendly and accommodation. Are smartly dressed in a sort of uniform - shirt, trousers and Safestore tie, with name badges clearly visible. This made it feel like a very professional and well run business. They also provide a price promise that they will match if you find a storage unit cheaper within so many miles of the branch. On my visit I was only making an enquiry. The staff took my details and a few days later I received a follow up call enquiring whether I was interested in their services. My negative here was that I did receive a number of messages left on my answer machine, and to be honest felt a bit badgered by them. However when they did catch me in and spoke to me I didn't receive any further calls.
