I had been going to PT for several months and needed to set up an appointment as soon as possible, as some residual lower back pain was coming back. Nathan at Mindful Motion referred me to Dr. Schupp, and the office accommodated my last minute request with an appointment the very next day! Dr. Schupp asked me about the history of my back pain and was extremely thorough in making sure I was comfortable with all of the adjustments. He asked me over and over whether everything was alright and I said yes, please, I will do whatever it takes to fix this back problem. Sessions are generally 60 minutes for initial appointments and 15-20 minutes for follow-ups. I left feeling like a train that had finally been put back on its rails! I'd totally recommend Dr. Schupp for any back pair or injuries.

Two years ago three members of our family were given a new diagnosis that required some navigating of the health care system (laws, paperwork, additional appts, etc.) The staff at this facility is often unhelpful in aiding us with questions or navigating our care plan. They do not help patients understand processes, guidelines or care schedule. We've had lost paperwork, missed medications, and more. I've mentioned before that I do not understand our care plan, but no one offers to help talk through it or kindly and patiently explain things to me. I'm often met with curt responses and just dead-end "good luck with that" kind of attitude. I feel that the staff finds me difficult. Im sure. But I'm a mother advocating for my child, and when my healthcare team is not helping me help my child then I will continue to advocate for them. I don't think it's too much to ask for people to tell us if things are coming up due. I understand the staff have limitations and guidelines to follow. However, if you're the type of person looking for healthcare team who are ON YOUR SIDE, who advocate and look out for you, then this is not the facility for you. I saw this doctor several years ago. I am finally beginning to recover from the "quick and easy…read morefix" he convinced me to have done, where he cut both of my big toenails, removing about 1/8 inch of nail, going down each side and into the quick. This, supposedly to end all ingrown nail problems. Fact is, I didn't go to see him for this problem and he talked me into it. He didn't address what I wanted to see about, diabetic shoes, and since he knew I was a diabetic, he might have taken into account that it would take a lot longer for both of my feet to heal at the same time. I left his office, barely ble to walk with my husband's help, and in tears because of the horror I saw when he let me look at my feet after he was through. It was bloody as hell, poorly wrapped and well, just messy, as if bandaged in a hurry by an amateur. The nails never came back in right, and the wounds he left festered and had to be constantly disinfected and walking became sheer hell for me. This "simple procedure" was, in my opinion botched, because now, the edges of those nail where he cut about 1/8th of an inch off of each side, well, they grow back, constantly, as a very sharp point that then pierces the flesh on each side of both feet, causing a much worse problem than any ingrown might have been. I'm not a doctor, and it is only my opinion, but people, I hate what this doctor did to me. If you see him, ask questions and think twice before letting him anywhere near you with a scalpel!

Once a cautious skeptic from previous bad experiences, I have now been convinced of the high value of chiropractic treatment when performed by someone as skilled, passionate and accommodating as Nate.
