I saw this doctor several years ago. I am finally beginning to recover from the "quick and easy…read morefix" he convinced me to have done, where he cut both of my big toenails, removing about 1/8 inch of nail, going down each side and into the quick. This, supposedly to end all ingrown nail problems. Fact is, I didn't go to see him for this problem and he talked me into it. He didn't address what I wanted to see about, diabetic shoes, and since he knew I was a diabetic, he might have taken into account that it would take a lot longer for both of my feet to heal at the same time. I left his office, barely ble to walk with my husband's help, and in tears because of the horror I saw when he let me look at my feet after he was through. It was bloody as hell, poorly wrapped and well, just messy, as if bandaged in a hurry by an amateur. The nails never came back in right, and the wounds he left festered and had to be constantly disinfected and walking became sheer hell for me. This "simple procedure" was, in my opinion botched, because now, the edges of those nail where he cut about 1/8th of an inch off of each side, well, they grow back, constantly, as a very sharp point that then pierces the flesh on each side of both feet, causing a much worse problem than any ingrown might have been. I'm not a doctor, and it is only my opinion, but people, I hate what this doctor did to me. If you see him, ask questions and think twice before letting him anywhere near you with a scalpel!

I had a terrible experience trying to get orthotics made. It felt messy and incompetent, like no…read moreone knew what they were doing. They didn't fit properly and after multiple fittings my needs were not addressed. Associated Podiatrists told me to go to UW Orthotics and they would not charge me and credit back the costs. I went to UW Orthotics after waiting months to get in and they told me my insurance would not cover the cost - I am allowed one pair a year with my insurance. After calling Quartz they told me Associated Podiatrists got paid for the Orthotics they made by my insurance company and it was still showing that I got my pair of orthotics which I gave back. Now I lost my benefit this year because they didn't reverse the charges with my insurance, like they told me they would. I will report this to Quartz and have them investigate what they did . This is very dishonest and the whole experience with this provider was stressful. I would never recommend anyone to go there. They get a negative three stars from me.
