They also care about their equipment and the experience of their guests. I have not had a bad experience here yet. The first Sunday of every month, they host Toddlerdega, or an event where you can bring your own power wheels vehicle and younger kids can drive around the track. The event is from 9-11 am. The cost is $5 per driver and if you need to rent a power wheel for the day, it's an additional $20 for the session. The kids have such a great time and the other parents who attend have all been nice to meet. This is a good time to meet other parents with kids the same age (it's so hard as an adult to meet new people). Towards the end of the session, all of the kids can line up and participate in a grand prix. Recently, there's been so many participants that they've been racing kids by category. It's nice for a place to be so accommodating to toddlers. Our friends are planning a birthday party there. I'm excited to see what the experience will be like.

We paid $20 for a single ride, plus $6 for registration and a helmet cover. Next, we went back to the building where the go-karts are kept. We put on our helmets and waited for our turns. The karts here are well maintained with great track layout. The karts are gas-powered and very easy to speed on the track. During our time riding, we really enjoyed the variety. The track boasts a mix of turns and straight stretches, providing plenty of opportunities for overtaking. The staff is very friendly, and the karts are great. ProKarting is a fantastic spot for family fun, and it's a great place to celebrate special occasions as well.

The downside is that the area and chairs in that were dirty, strewn with losing ticket stubs and cigarette butts (although it says no smoking, the guy next to us chain smoked for the entire time). Still, we had fun. Won a little money and placed our bets for Derby Downs which was to take place much later. We had the best mint julep made by a very nice lady bartender who made a wonderful drink. The guy bartender complained about his time being wasted by having to make them. Hey, it's Derby Day! When it was time goes us to move on, we exited via the poker room which was filled with lots of intense players. The area was quite inviting though. The grounds and the interior were very clean and well maintained. Every staff member we encountered (except grumpy bartender) was friendly and helpful which always seems to makes it more fun. Good time was had for sure.

Super excited we experienced the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg from the inside finally. We always…read morelooked over the barricades. This time we went to a viewing of a race car a few weeks before hand and didn't realize they were going to give us pairs of free tickets. We knew we had to go. Parking made me nervous, but we parked in a nearby garage for $25. They said you could take the bus or free trolley, or park at the Tropicana Field for $30 and take a shuttle bus. Once we got there, we walked a block away, they scanned our tickets and we were in. You could see the cars all over, & you could hear them big time. Definitely bring anything for your ears. They have food vendors and vendors for freebies including Wine tasting which was fun from Keel. Elderberry cider is so good. Woodies Car Wash was there and the Cute VW for photo booth pics just to name a few. I loved seeing the cars up close in the various pitstops, seeing the cars race fast from a far in the Grand Stand, and seeing them closer when you walk around the track. They Were So Fast and So Loud!

I live close by so this was a convenient race to attend and used to be quite decent. It went downhill when the organizers decided to cover every inch of fencing with advertising banners basically removing any view outside of the grandstands. I guess these geniuses never got the memo that the draw of a street course is to actually be able to view the race from different vantage points. Let alone the fact that there absolutely no reason to attend any races here unless you have a grandstand seat because otherwise you will see zero action. And honestly the Indy race itself has been quite boring for a number of years because there is basically no where to pass.

As a resident of southeast…read moreMichigan I'd rather have gone to a Tigers "home" game in Lakeland but our itinerary didn't allow that. Home games seem to be a flexible concept down here in the Sunshine State anyway, with teams playing many hundreds of miles - or kilometers if you're the Blue Jays - away from their home stadiums. Besides the inevitable Blue Jays Crew we saw plenty of other Tigers fans, a good number of people wearing Phillies gear (Philadelphia's spring training home is very close to Dunedin), Tampa Bay Rays fans and just quite a few people wearing random sports clothes from various teams and even sports. A Jacksonville Jaguars fan was in the house. It's a cute little stadium. I like the blue and white motif. Kind of reminds me of old Tiger Stadium though they use a darker, richer shade of blue here. The concourses got a bit packed at times. It seems people get up and walk around more at spring training. There was even a concourse lounge area with cornhole games and people chilling in chairs. We had seats in the outfield along the left field foul line. Seating seemed to be like the Wild West. When we first walked up there were people in our seats. They moved and had to shoo people who were in their seats. Later after we went to get concessions and came back there were people in our SEATS again who claimed people were in their seats. It seemed to be this chain reaction of everyone just sitting wherever. It seemed like too big a pain to try to get our proper seats back so we just moved to the closest row to the field in that section which had empty seats the whole time. So we got an upgrade from the tomfoolery and didn't have to snitch to an usher. Concessions were decent. Nothing to write home about but I was very pleased that as the southern home of Toronto Blue Jays TD Ballpark had Clearly Canadian flavored fizzy water. I love that stuff. I enjoyed a couple bottles. The Tigers were easily beat by the Jays and much of the play on the field was shambolic and/or halfhearted. I get the guys who are already Major Leaguers treating this games as more just shaking the rust of and getting into shape but some of the prospects who should be trying to make a splash and get moved up seemed to be on easy mode, too. One guy was keeping score which was just so hardcore and hilarious to me. So many substitutions. So many little known guys destined for the minors. There were a few players on the field only rocking numbers, no names. Not worth all that stitching when someone else might be 58 tomorrow. Mad respect to the monomaniac keeping score. There were some "Let's go Blue Jays!" and "Let's go Tigers!" chants that went back and forth, sometimes involving only one or two people on each side which were still easily heard in those less than massive, lowkey stands. Fortunately the prices were less than big league but I think it's probably worth it to pay more to see MLB regular season play. Spring training seems to be more about hanging out and vibing. I heard so much small talk in the stands about all kinds of subjects. I wonder what minor league games here are like. I'll probably never make it back but I do wanna see the Mud Hens in Toledo.

We've seen many shows here and find the paid and volunteer staff welcoming and helpful. The bathroom situation is similar to other places in that they have several places to go, but it can be a lengthy wait if more women than men attend the event. Men always seem to be much more quick! Our latest outing here was for ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN. It was louder than we wanted (Apple Watch went off many times warning of hearing loss). The light show was amazing. The musical side was good, but not spectacular (why could we not understand what they were singing for the first 4 obscure Queen songs?). We look forward to attending more events here.

After winning a few times we saw there was a tipping sign and found out that the staff only get paid through tips. We decided that when we finish our games at the end of the night we would pool our money together and tip the excellent staff. However, in the middle of the night after we won again the manager DENISE decided to come up to us and started SCREAMING at us about not having tipped the staff yet.... this was our first time there and that was very clear.. we were unaware that typically you tip after a win... and instead of politely letting us know DENISE decided that it was okay to yell at us and tell us she would "meet us after the games", we will never return... we made sure to tip the two staff members who were incredibly sweet but Denise ruined our experience completely. I would not suggest this place entirely because of her.

I purchased one and made my significant other purchase one also through his account. From my son's house, it was 20 minutes, but since we left during rush hour, it took me 35 minutes. We arrived 25 minutes before the 6pm session. We purchased the $50 pack due to the package being best value. They also had two other pricing $30 and middle range $50. After utilizing both vouchers, we ended up paying $46 ( which included 3 sets of 3 tabs). What I noticed is that all games are on paper. They DO NOT utilize computers. In most of their games, the jackpot prize is $50, and maybe six of their pots are $250. I also purchased food. I got myself a personal pepperoni for $3.50, shepherd's pie with a roll for $5.50 and soda from the machine. I spent $10 on food. I ended up winning a game. My prize consisted of a $40 Belcher voucher which doesn't expire and can used for my next trip making me pay $20 out of pocket. They also gave us $5 off coupons. I really enjoyed myself and plan on coming in the near future. Great times!!
