Crooked lawyer, stole from me and never did anything for my case. Refused to refund my money and stopped answering.

Napoleonesque Bull in His Own China Shop…read more I walked in, his receptionist only speaks broken English so I asked to speak with the attorney, who screamed at me and assaulted me lmao, I'll get the recording uploaded somewhere he can't DMCA it and post it here later. I'm leaving 5 stars so you'll see this review first. Dude has balls bigger than his pecker; he must not be able to afford the good steroids. I cannot imagine a competent attorney screaming at a potential customer, much less physically touching a customer out of anger and frustration at a miscommunication with the receptionist. Must have been a bad day. Don't let this man anywhere near the cleanup for YOUR bad days if you have another option.

Stay very far away from this firm, which sometimes acts criminally against their own "clients."…read more *Please note the fact that I have chosen to lose ~$500 - even though I am poor - in order to retain my rightful ability to report Ken Swindle for society's sake. In a settlement he concocted, he offered to reduce his lien by a mere ~$500 in an attempt to encourage me to not report him or otherwise "out" his criminal misconduct.* I was sent an advertisement in the mail for a free consultation after a woman smacked into me on the interstate. Before even meeting Ken Swindle, I was tricked by one of his assistants minutes after I arrived into signing paperwork which apparently "hired" him and gave him legal rights to 1/3 of my settlement. The assistant didn't inform me of the nature of this document, and instead pretended that it was just standard procedure for free consultations. I eventually spoke to Ken Swindle, and at the end of our meeting I told him that I would "probably" hire him. The next business day I called to inform them that upon further reflection I did not have interest in using Ken Swindle or any other attorney for my case. It was then that I discovered that I was badly and very criminally deceived. I was told that I "hired" him. For ethical reasons, even though I recognized that the attorney would walk away with 1/3 of my settlement regardless of how I proceeded, I chose not to use him and negotiated with the adjuster solely by myself. (This proved not to be detrimental because the adjuster legitimately did his best to maximize my settlement. Everyone involved felt sorry for me and recognized how monstrous the attorney is.) Everything the attorney has said in our written correspondences afterwards has been wildly fake and manipulative. It's all been crafted in an attempt to protect himself as best he can against possible attempts by me to sue him, report him, or write a negative review like this one. He's essentially been an attorney for himself against me, his "client" (who I unknowingly became, given the criminal and deceitful game the firm played during my "free" consultation), and almost everything he's said is either a patent lie or exaggeration. I am going to formally report him to the Office of the Committee on Professional Conduct very soon. He's been reported a number of times already. He thinks he's able to adequately defend himself on paper with almost nothing but lies. He's a bit stupid, though, I think, because people sometimes audio record. What if I recorded everything? Maybe "stupid" isn't the proper word, but ballsy. After all of this happened I spoke to a number of attorneys about him and this situation, and two of them happened to have experience with him and spoke very negatively about him. I was even told me that one of his former partners left the firm given an inability to cope with how unethical he is. Stay far away from this guy. He isn't particularly impressive, by any means, but neither is he remotely incompetent - which makes him all the more scary as a criminal attorney. Attorneys know the law quite well of course, which is why criminal attorneys should be very feared. If the attorney replies to this, be forewarned that it is likely to be just about 100% fake. He is very "innocent," he will claim, and my "incendiary" comments to him after the fact, he will claim, weren't at all a natural result of being ruthlessly scammed for over $5,000. I'm even technically permanently disabled, as a person with bipolar I, and quite poor. Sharks like to prey upon the weak, don't they? I'm convinced he has antisocial personality disorder, or at the very minimum is a clinical narcissist. I actually got deeply narcissistic vibes from him during the "free" consultation. His name is even "Swindle." He probably internally laughs to himself every time he - Ken Swindle - swindles one of his clients. Check out this link, which details his being fined over $15,000 for throwing a narcissistic tantrum: https://www.arkansasonline.com/news/2018/aug/11/rogers-lawyer-reprimanded-for-filing-ca/
