I originally started going to Balanced Health & Fitness to seek help for digestive issues as well as food sensitivities, allergies, eczema, inflammation, etc. I immediately started coming in for weekly detox foot baths and was surprised to learn about all the icky build up that accumulates in our bodies over time. It was interesting to see the toxins at the end of your bath, and see exactly what each of the different colors mean. Soon I started infrared sauna sessions as another form of detox alternating between the foot baths. I am glad I did - the sauna is so relaxing! After taking a shower, I feel like a renewed version of myself. The hair analysis test has been a major help as well. Through understanding what minerals I was deficient in/ had excess of, I was able to change my diet and take vitamins and minerals better suited for my body's needs. I can happily say I no longer experience any of the digestive symptoms I had originally sought help for. I decided to make an investment in myself by signing up for personal training sessions with him. I've been seeing him consistently since September 2010 and thanks to him I just completed the Nike Women's Half Marathon. The training we did focused on strength, endurance and agility.
