Here's the short version if you don't want to read my rant - Do NOT go here…read more Now that's out of the way. I want to preface by saying I am dad and do not typically take my kids for haircuts. And after this experience my wife will never let me do so again. So Dad's if this is your goal by all means, all it will cost you is your kids dignity. When I walked in and there were 7 people waiting for a single stylist I should have known there was a problem. Why would 4 other stylists be standing around with 7 people waiting for a different one. Lord Almighty do I know that answer now. My original intent was to post pictures of the haircut. But this being the internet posting pictures of my kid isn't a great plan. So let's just imagine the Adam's family for a moment. Yep, that picture that just jumped into your head. That's what my kid looked like afterward. When we got home my wife said and I quote, Oh my God what did they do. And she promptly shuffled him out the door to another haircut place. You see it was just before the first day of school and there was no way we could send our kid to school with a haircut that could have been better executed by the household blender. The second business that fixed his hair refused to believe a professional did the cut. I know she thought my wife or had tried it and were trying to cover it up. So in short if you hve $50 in your pocket and are thinking I look a little shaggy. Just close your eyes and cut your own hair and buy yourself a nice steak instead. You'll be A LOT happier, trust me. Oh - And yes I did send a complaint right afterward. I recieved what I am guessing is an automated reply saying someone would get right back to me. Nope, they never did. So - Here's their sign.

The shop looked clean and possibly recently renovated which everything seemed to flow with the right touch. I went in on Friday to try for a walk in but their schedule didn't quite align with mine. That wasn't a problem and I was quickly booked for the following day which worked out great. I was scheduled with Erik who gave me probably the best, legit cut I've had thus far since moving here a year ago. I also liked that Erik clarified prior to cutting how I wanted the fade coming up to the hard part versus just cutting and making assumptions which lots of barbers do. He communicated prior to cutting, asked if I liked it towards the end, and then he proceeded to tighten the cut up to finish. The best part, they are so affordable compared to the other spots I've tried. Bonus: military/veteran discount. I think I have my new spot on lock and I look forward to my next visit.

Where to start on this review. Let's start with the look and appeal of the place. While the outside…read moreis nice and gives you an older style type comfort, the inside is lacking in many areas. From the clutter of several year old chairs, fish tanks and other furniture that isn't being used, it is lacking. Only one person works there, an elderly Asian woman who to my knowledge needs help seeing hair or listening to the directions given for the haircut you ask for. The actual haircut experience: My hair before the hair cut went to the tip of my nose. I asked for a size 2to the top of my ear, tapered up and an inch off the top. I'm assuming after she heard I was in the military, she decided to do her own thing and cut my hair how she saw fit. What I got was hair that barely made it to the top of my forehead. Little to no hair on the sides whatsoever. Completely opposite of what I wanted. Then out of nowhere she decided to begin massaging me with a giant electric massager. Not that it didn't feel good, but made me very uncomfortable as she continued to move from my shoulders to my chest down to my abs and arms to my back. Very awkward and weird: Paying: As she began my haircut, I was never aware she DOES NOT accept card. I don't know this until I looked up on the wall on a small piece of paper stating "Do not accept cards" which was hard to notice when you walk in to the clutter. So after the haircut I informed her I didn't have cash. Long story short there wasn't any working atm close whatsoever. Keyword there is WORKING atm. So as I walked almost a full mile to an atm and back, I had 15 dollars in my pocket I was unaware of. Believe there was no way the haircut could be more than 15 bucks I headed back and went to pay. Boy was I wrong. She wanted $17 for the haircut! Anyways steer away. Far far away.

If you like to support bait and switch business this might be the one for you…read more I booked an appointment for my 14 yr old child. On the booking site it said 14 and under were kids cuts. So that's what was booked. When we arrived I asked about getting my child's eyebrows done to. I was told that it would be a full mens beard cut. Confused I tried to get clarification on the full beard cut being that my child doesn't have a beard and only needed eye brows cut. He told me that's the shop pricing. And that was it. During my child's haircut an update was made on the booking site to now show 13 and under as a kids cut. Eyebrows are listed at $5 When I went in to pay he had already collected cash from my child. For an adult cut (since my child is 14) and a mens beard cut Today I noticed my appointment was marked as a no show so I couldn't leave a review. Extremely unprofessional! If you like being taken advantage of, bait and switched and overcharged this might be the barbershop for you. However if your looking for an honest credible barbershop. I suggest you take your business elsewhere. I know times are hard right now but taking advantage of a kid? That's a new level of unprofessional and dishonest smh
