The car was clean and very nice, apparently I was being driven by the owner who was pitching in today. There was pleasant conversation, and I'm not usually big on taxi conversation. (I've paid a driver an extra $5 not to engage me.) He talked about his time in Chicago, and hanging out in the bleachers at Wrigley Field, and the economics of being poor, and the important thing is that I was at the airport fifteen minutes early.
