If you are seeking a slip for your boat, I would highly recommend going elsewhere. My boat suffered…read more$2,000.00 in cosmetic damages while parked at a seasonal slip. The manager admitted to handling my boat without my consent or knowledge and that it was his right to do so. Owner and manager have refused to compensate for the damages after several months of back and forth emails. Owner tried to get his insurance to pay for the damage but I'm assuming was denied since he has not responded to me for several months. Manager stated they are not responsible for damage to vessel - even if they were the last to handle the boat. First, this is not written into the mooring agreement and if it were, this would be deemed unconscionable. Just absurd.

Very unfortunate, I have always gone to concerts on the beach and immensely enjoyed myself. I have…read morewritten multiple reviews praising them, encouraged multiple people to go. Their first concert after covid was terrible. I didn't attempt to order food, as I could hear everyone complaining that they ordered food an hour an half ago, and still had received it yet. This was the first time they ever had an opening band-which was terrible. At 8pm we left and the band (we bought tickets for) hadn't started to play yet. I contacted Pelican Bay and asked for a refund, or credit b/c they advertised the Buckstiend was starting at 7pm, at 8pm they still weren't on stage. I get this was the first concert of the season, and there were hiccups, which is why I was okay with credit. They never responded to my request-just ignored me, so I challenged the charge with my credit card company, I am not sure why they are surprised, I did contact Pelican Bay first on two separate occasions. I am now banned from their facility and being refunded, not for the Buckstein tickets I purchased, but for the upcoming concert tickets, I already purchased tickets for. WOW, seems a little over the top, they could have just called me back or responded to my email, and apologies for the kinks. I feel like Erik is a 13-year girl, and I am her mother who just told her, her skirt was too short.

we rented a boat for my daughters 16th birthday. That was what she was wanting to do this year for…read moresweet 16! Things to know. 1. if in summer, even on weekdays you will need to call and make your reservations in advance. Most likely they will not have boats available if you just do a drop in. You are able to call and reserve 14 days in advance. 2. the amounts of people allowed in the boats are different than what is on their website. it is actually less now for some reason???? not sure what that is. but hopefully they update it to be accurate at some point soon. 3. The prices listed on the website is for the boat only. It does not include gas. 4. They had half day or all day rentals available. 5. If you want to pull a tube behind, the tubes they sell in the marina span between $150-$260!!! YIKES. You will also need a tow rope and y line and that will add another $70. I called all over to see if there was a place that would rent these items and the answer is no :( We used one of our river tubes from home and well it was not the BEST but the girls made the most of it. 6. when you get there you go down around back of the marina and go to the building with the blue roof to check in at. 7. you can bring food and beverages on the boats, but if you make too much of a mess you will get charged a cleaning fee. 8. they will hold your drivers license and credit card while you are out on the boat. 9. They do give a you a boat talk to tell you how to make the boat run. The fellas down at the dock where very friendly. They were helpful and really made everyone feel comfortable. They helped us figure out how to tie our tube on even though it was not quite what they are used to. They also hooked up our y hook up and towline. 10. After you done, you will want to go up to the marina to pay. They take your stuff up there. That was not totally clear and i was hanging around down at the dock. You can paddleboard and kayak down below the marina if you want. You are not supposed to swim in the lake except at the swim beach.

Great folks always helpful. Nice to have a place to keep your boat that the CLM watch over for you.read more

Let's start with the good. Plenty of space to explore since this reservoir area was gigantic. Never…read morehad a problem finding parking, and they had a nice little "beach" if you could call it that there. Lots of place to take your dog for a walk as well. Now for the bad/stinky. The beach had a foul odor that smelt like burnt sulfur if you were close enough to the water. Lots of bugs and the restrooms were pretty rough. They also charge $11 just to enter. I'd recommend the Rocky Mountain arsenal national wildlife refuge if you're visiting and want a nice outdoor activity to experience while you're here in town. It's about a 30 minute drive north of this reservoir.

I've certainly under appreciated this state park for the last 26 year of my residency in Denver. My…read morecurrent house being only 5 to 10 minutes away from this park, I should have utilized it more for hiking/walking so I owe this park an apology! My friend couple invited me to their camping today and I simply had an amazing time at site #34 on Coyote Loop. Campsites are nicely spaced from one another and people around us smiled at me (us) whenever I (we) made an eye contact with them; they were so respectful. A strong wind developed at the start of the campfire dinner so we had to step inside my friends' camper/RV to eat our supper. Only about an hour later, the wind died down so we could get our campfire going at last. Beautiful Colorado sky gradually turned from blue to dark blue as the night fell and it was stunning to see the crescent moon (like the shape of Bermuda Islands.) I'm now determined to utilize this park more often. I can even walk from my northeast DTC townhouse to it if I choose to do so.
