A few years ago, my husband came up with this detailed plan for a coastal fireplace with a new mantel & shiplap. We reached out to a few businesses. We discussed our plans by email and in person with J.A. Painting & Decorations. Despite some minor language barriers, we felt comfortable going with them for this big project. The price was good as well. In the end, we bought a real wood mantel ourselves. They removed our builder grade fireplace and built a new fireplace for us based on exact picutures and measurements we provided them. Another business did the tile work. J.A. Painting & Decorations also added the shiplap accent wall behind our fireplace and on the side of our stair case. They also painted it white for us.
