Many a benefits for getting your alcohol fixings from this location. - Location: The store is in a very convenient location. They have a big sized parking lot. Access to the location is very easy and there are no major traffic intersections that make it difficult getting in and out. - Selections: They have a huge selection of most everything. But especially the craft beers. Not to forget all the international beer selections. It is really impressive. Vodka, Rums, Scotch - great selection across the board. Some really good wine collection as well. - Staff: Very friendly staff. They are almost always well staffed to answer any questions you may have while looking around something specific. They pop out of nowhere in the aisles which is always good when you are really working on your own to find something in a place for the first time you visit. I also like the fact that they regularly ID you when you are checking out. - Deals: And it does not hurt when you get a good deal on your favorite 12 pack of beer. Across the board, I have seen their prices are pretty reasonable. And some of the deals on beers is especially commendable. Finally, I have seen a tasting or 2 going on almost every time I have visited this location. Which is perfect to try out new things. Never been disappointed. Wish we had big stores like this one near us here up in MA.

I wasn't originally going to check in, but because of what happened I felt that I needed to and…read moreleave a review. I usually stop by here a couple times a month to pick up a few craft brews as well as some low carb beer. I found a 4 pack from a NJ brewery and decided to try it. I picked up a couple more 4 packs of others as well. After paying I grabbed my stuff and headed to the car. I had one 4 pack nestled under my left arm and another perched on top of that. As I was walking away from the register I heard a metallic pop from one the 4 packs. I looked down and it looked like one just popped out of the retainer and I didn't think anything more about it. After just getting out the door, one of the cans literally exploded. This caused the 4 pack resting on top top topple to the ground. My other hand was full so I couldn't stop it. I stuck my foot out to help break the fall but it still hit the ground and one of those cans popped and started spraying beer as well. There was a woman coming in as I was leaving and she assisted me as I was now covered in beer and cans were rolling around the ground in front of me. I went ahead and put the undamaged items in my car and headed back in with the damaged items. The lady that assisted me had already went in and gave the cashier a heads up as to what happened because she saw everything. When I made it inside, another cashier, maybe the manager was very apologetic and called to the back and had someone bring me new replacements. I'm completely covered in beer. Technically,I guess he didn't have to replace the ones I dropped but he did anyway. The cashier that checked me out said she heard it explode from inside the store. The customer service is top notch. The store is on an easily accessible corner and is neat, clean and orderly. Well lit. As for the beer that exploded, I tried one of the non exploding versions and it was meh. I didn't hate it, but I have certainly had better. Also, if the woman that helped me in the parking lot sees this, thank you and DM me. I want to take you to dinner. I lost track of you in the fray.

Let me just say that I have never in my life been in such a FUN and STOCKED liquor store in my entire life! They had the upbeat party tunes pumping in the store and the first aisle is literally arranged in a way where they had both a tequila sampling bar AND a whiskey sampling bar with what seemed like every whiskey and tequila that was ever made and each of the little "bars" was decorated in cute little themes and you could tell a lot of thought of effort went into the set up. Now remember that I said I simply needed a bottle of wine for friend's celebration .... I literally left with the birthday bottle of wine, a bottle of blueberry port wine from my favorite NJ winery, a chocolate peanut butter whiskey, and an espresso martini cordial made by my favorite NJ distillery (which I had no idea they even made) OH and a party bucket of mini 99 shots with flavors I had never tried! I could've honestly purchased about 10 other bottles I was curious about, however, I told myself I will come back on my next trip to again explore since I was already a few minutes late heading to the party. Oh and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable which is the cherry on top. What a gem in Clayton, NJ this place is!

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time on a Tuesday afternoon and really enjoyed it. 16 beers on tap plus two hard sodas and one hard seltzer. They also offered several different kinds of seltzer cocktails, which I've never seen at other NJ breweries. We stayed for a while, had a few flights and individual pours between us and loved almost everything we tried. Favorites of mine included the Mosaic Man, the Fortescue Fisherman's Ale, and Lucifer's Blood. There is no AC inside and it did get warm, but there was a nice breeze outside on the outside deck. The bartender was also one half of the husband/wife team the owns the place, and she was incredibly friendly. We live about and hour away, but we will definitely be back.
