Amber and her assistant shot our November 2012 wedding in Sacramento, CA and the pictures are simply phenomenal. She managed to capture a wonderful blend of expertly posed as well as delightful candid shots. She listened to our ideas and added in her own creative style which I absolutely loved. Amber is incredibly easy to work with - we didn't feel any of that awkwardness that sometimes shows through in pictures when a photographer is capturing an intimate moment. Amber was a true professional from beginning to end - she responded to emails and text messages promptly and her online billing interface made it so easy to pay and keep track of payments - I had other vendors who lost checks/billed me twice etc. but I never had to worry about that with Amber. The day of the wedding was a blur for me - Amber made sure that our first look was executed perfectly and captured many shots before the ceremony so that the wedding party didn't have to miss out on a huge portion of the cocktail hour and reception to take photos - I love that! She even set up a digital photo frame at the reception so that guests could see some of the pictures shot earlier in the day. Everybody loved it! After the wedding, she posted a "sneak peek" almost right away. What a thrill to see some photos of the big day! She sent us photo magnets to enclose with our thank you cards and a link to an online gallery to share with friends and family. She added personal touches to everything from the consultation to the slideshow she sent us afterwards. You really get the sense that Amber is passionate about her work and cares about her clients (sounds cheesy as I type it but it's true!).
