My daughter was sitting in a different aisle trying on heels and had left the shoe box nearby. An employee approached her and said, "I'm assuming you lost the box to those heels." The way it was said strongly implied that my daughter was doing something wrong or potentially stealing, when she was clearly trying on heels. When I approached and joined the conversation, the employee immediately changed her tone and began explaining that many people steal from the store and that customers are required to bring the box with them when trying on shoes. Had she simply explained the store policy from the beginning, there would have been no issue. My daughter was embarrassed and offended by the assumption that was made about her. It felt like she was being profiled rather than assisted as a customer. After I addressed the situation, the employee quickly tried to downplay what she had said instead of acknowledging how her approach came across. I understand that retail employees have to be vigilant about theft, but there is a respectful and professional way to communicate store policies without making customers feel accused or uncomfortable. This employee could benefit from additional training on customer service and how to approach situations like this without making assumptions. Unfortunately, what should have been an exciting shopping trip for my daughter's graduation turned into an upsetting experience.

I grabbed a pair of Rothy's (I hope I spelled that right). Shoes first, then I heade to select a few outfits. While I am in looking through the racks of dresses, then blouses and skirts. I look over and there is a Hispanic man moving around the racks with me. I back up, he backs up. I move forward, he moves forward. This is such a turn-off when shopping. I took my items and went to cash out. When I looked back, he was gone. Dark hair, short, black t-shirt, and shorts. I am not being culturally insensitive, he did not look like the type of man who wears women's clothing. While at the register, I made it clear that I would be using gift cards. The cashier said not a problem. The items have been placed in the bag, total $135 - I did good; I am ready to pay. The cashier says, I can not use two gift cards. One gift card nd the difference must be paid by cash. What? Realy? I have used VISA or Mastercard gift cards there in the past with no problem. I figured I would leave the merchandise and go somewhere else. The cashier suggested I buy a gift card with a gift card, is that legal? I don't even know. We saw hundreds of dogs and their humans - not sure if there was an event or if this was just the norm here. But it was fun to watch cute little puppies. I visited during the World Cup and they had an area dedicated for it. They had a pop-up FIFA store which had items I wanted but haven't found at the stadiums. He brought it into the store and was told it will get fixed. Many many many weeks later and after numerous times going to the store and being told it'll be ready soon he finally got it today. The suit was not fixed. The owner was not accommodating or apologetic at all. He even told my husband last week to go to the tailor and see if it's ready(that doesn't sound like good customer service at all). I don't recommend this place for anything. My rating would be negative stars.
