I damaged my brown leather shoes on the day I bought them. I was distraught. I rang the shop and was advised to return them to see what they could do. I received them back today. WOW! I seriously cannot tell where the damage was. Fantastic service and craftsmanship to be proud of. Church shoes are the best. It is a pleasure and a privilege to wear and own them. Thank you.

All shoes I've bought here have held up wonderfully and are super comfortable. The reason I rave about this company though is the customer service I received while making an international shipping order from their website. They were able to deliver to a tiny hotel in Lake Como, Italy, within a relatively limited time frame. They even called the hotel to ensure the package arrived when they couldn't reach me by cell phone. I couldn't be more grateful for their diligence.

I'm not too sure why things seem to have changed but they have. Very friendly guys working there…read moreand they are very helpful but the quality of the service/output is low. It has taken several attempts for them to get keys cut correctly, they seem unable to cut a car key for me that works and the last two watches (both G-Shock) have strangely broken not long after I have bought 'batteries for life' from them. Sadly I definitely will not be using them in the future for watch batteries but as they are willing to correct their errors in regards to the keys they cut, I'll give them another chance. A real shame as they do seem to try hard.

I'd prefer to be left to make my own mind up than have someone waiting on me hand and foot. They do fit children's shoes. Several years ago they'd let you buy the shoes for children who weren't actually with you on the understanding that they'd give you a refund if they didn't fit the child - I don't know if they still do this no quibble refund but it was very useful. They also don't split the children's shoes into boys shoes and girls shoes. Which is brill if you have a child who doesn't like stinky pink and a mother who can't see the point of buying white trainers with pink butterflies stuck on them - surely trainers are for running around on muddy fields and climbing trees - you don't want them to show the dirt. Anyway in Brentano my daughter and I can browse the shoes and try them on without standing out like sore thumbs or having assistants warn us that we are looking at boys shoes.
