Excellent work done by Jorge. He's a nice guy and very professional. I went in and asked for a new welt, leather midsole and to add a Dainite sole. He did exactly as requested and he says he can get it done in 1 week. Which is great because I been to other cobblers in the city and they are always late with the repairs. Jorge might be the only cobbler who can get the order done on the schedule he promises. He is very knowledgeable on shoe repairs and I believe him based on his work. And I was in the middle of my work day, and I also had to work very early the next morning! Luckily I read great reviews about this place so I RAN down and asked if they could fix them. The man who works there is very kind and said "Sure! No problem!" I ran back to work. So happy I stumbled across the shop one day. I took a pair of my favorite sneakers in to get polished and whitened. I've had them for a couple years the leather started to fray and the white sole starter to turn yellow. These guys brought them back to life. They look brand new. My favorite work heels lost their bottom heels last week while I was walking around the area. Luckily I yelped this shoe repair and it was just two blocks down. I was greeted by the manager, George, who was very kind and although they were about to close he assured that they could get the job done in under 20 minutes and I could still make it to my dinner reservation. 7 minutes later, my shoe was fixed with new heels and it was only $10, which is standard price for the city. They repair all kinds of shoes and shine shoes as well. Overall, I am now their new customer and will be bringing all of my work shoes here. Not only was the job well done but the customer service was exceptional. While the job was being done, George introduced his business as new and upcoming. I recommend everyone to stop by if you need your shoes shined or repaired. They sell shoe basics such as shoe laces and orthopedic soles. So I was walking by decided to see if they could get the salt of my boots (I've never been to a shoe shine before honestly for some reason I thought it was a man's thing - as if only men wear shoes?) Anyways I go in asking them to clean the salt and he cleans my entire boot it looks brand new! If you're like me, and like to hold to your beloved shoes as long as possible, this is the place that will keep them in perfect shape.
