I found a pair of Kelly & Katie Tahada-HF in platino shimmer sand fabric with a wedge heel. Plus, they were only $29.99, and without tax in Pennsylvania. I'm loving my new sandals, and they look great with my gown. Home run! The check-out clerk was personable. She encouraged me to join DSW's Rewards Program but wasn't pushy when I declined. (Would've if there was a store closer to home). The store had a good collection of styles in my size, and merchandise was displayed in a neat and orderly manner. Parking was plentiful and free.

There were 2 employees feverishly moving items on to a sale rack. It was 1:30 and there were no other customers in the store. I walked in and neither acknowledged I had even entered the store. I spent maybe 5-10 minutes looking for the items and went to where the 2 employees were moving items from one rack to the other. It was only when I was 4 feet from one of the employees that they acknowledged my presence. I asked for help regarding finding similar items to those online and she said no they don't carry size tall. When I told her tall wasn't necessary she pointed to a pair on the sale rack said others were on a table in the front. That was it. No, how can I help? No, let me see if there is something else that could work. No showing me the table she referred to. I just left and won't be back. Since I still need pants, I'll find somewhere else to spend my money.

I was fully prepared to walk out of there, and half expected that I would need to, since my 2 year old tends to get wiggly in stores. Which of course she did. No surprise. Burlington coat factory was the first place I bought my coats. I couldn't believe the quality and value that even a broke graduate could afford three coats, if my memory serves, it came out to $116! Now it's just Burlington and they sell pretty much everything. The prices are different. I find cheaper items elsewhere. But you can still find a few great buys you just need patience to find. I do love that there aren't any annoying sales people. On the other hand, it's the reason the store is messy.
